Have gardeners delight and golden sunrise kevin, both good favour. Have stuck with gardeners delight for well over 30 years. Unbeatable taste and cropper. Also planted a short row of icicle radish... hot enough to blow yer socks off, best grated or whole in stirfrys to tame them a bit.. Wilco’s 50p a packet :-)

And the red cabbage (Drummond) are through. Will sow basil this week and sweetcorn (indoors) when we have a promise of a warm/sunny week.

Gardening, hmmm. Everything’s behind this year with that cold spell... but from nothing growing to short of space happens quick in April and May.. I’ve now about 5 or 6 hundred plants pricked and repotted.. spent the twilight pricking helicrysum and statice out.. excellent in boarders and for cutting and as dried winter flowers.. also rhubarb seeds for the first time for “just cos” reasons and they have all popped through... exited I am. The asparagus bed is weed free and fed, the first cutttings normally show by mid April .. and finally , the bell peppers which are under double glass are also germinating..
