Beetroot for a late crop, still time for French beans and loads of time for autumn broccoli and spring cabbage. I would also plant spring onions, I started some last week and will do the same in mid August. I normally plant a second crop of broad beans about kev. Florence fennel can be sown in pots to plant out also.. l do about four sowings of a dozen or so.

Pleased about that mother. I planted out a tray of Swedes this morning. Need to sow more sugarsnap peas
