I know a few of use lot aren’t bossed with flowers and veg. But we can all really transform our gardens of patios with a range of all year round herbs. I grow around ten types, all bring joy.
This time of year and throughout the winter, Sage, Parsley, Bay and Rosemary provide delicious kitchen aromas . I also cut them to use in small flower vases. If you have marjoram and thyme they keep smaller base leaves over winter and these can be dropped in wax candle tops at xmas . Home made sage and shallot stuffing ?
A big handful of fresh cut herbs stuffed in a bird or under a roast will delight..
Always grow mint in solid pots
