My last boss in industry paid me a good salary as part of my role to freely wonder round three big chemical factories, the supply chain and the business operations tracking down problems and running improvement groups with tightly focused goals and outputs.. we took many tens of millions of costs out in tight cyclical commodity company.

Lol, what we know bobtree is the concentration plant was to be commissioned commencing April. We know it’s slipped nearly three months.. I can stand an cheer and spin football rattles at the site perimeter if you like but it won’t change anything. I’ve worked on projects with huge budgets and many as small as this. Please accept I’m not being negative but in all truth we are looking at two significant cocks ups. Folks on here keep saying these things happen all the time, well they didn’t in my industry and when slippage occurred people dived on the issue to bring it back on track. You will hopefully recall that on a few occasions early last year I mentioned looking forward to hearing of the appointment of a project development leader.. good ones cost good money. They bring projects in on time, they send minions to girder factories to make sure they are telling it as it is.. they harry and expedite. I’ll wager the grant payment date will also slip. We don’t now know it all the kit will run unless the power line upgrade is complete.. sorry for looking at this from a simple process engineering planning perspective.. lost time as ever on every job I’ve been on costs money.. if allmineral are contractually responsible the delay then they will have to pay for the losses.. but I suspect not, that we don’t have a proper supply chain turnkey agreement. If we don’t I would sue the black rock due diligence team for not ensuring we had one... ;-))

The company was using twitter till mid November to update us.. then someone realised they’d forgotten to order the steelwork for allmineral and we had nearly 2 months of progress silence bobtree..

The jig and mill construction was to start in December and be commissioned in February. The concentration plant was to constructed starting January commissioning in March /April.. that was the plan.

I don’t think the plant will start to proper ramp up in Ernest till late June/July

I agree with most of that Safety. The issue is delays alter the dynamic financial fundamentals in relation to outgoings/loan and confidence.. egos get in the way of honest appraisal of progress.. if it were my team I’d have them off site for two days with the full board for a real genuine no threats review.. and, I’d have someone independently lead it..

I believe that the chairman or better still Arron need to provide a totally candid and diligent briefing of what’s happening on the ground. Including costings.. in writing to the market.. confidence is very low and we as shareholders have to constantly grope around tatty press statements to try and figure what’s happening.. it’s sloppy, it’s unprofessional and it’s not bloody good enough.. seriously it’s not good enough to say to group of investors on site in September we don’t need new grid power lines we are building our own station and then slip the opposite into a rns 9 months later when the entire project is 3 months late. Taking the allmineral camera down at the site is and was sinister and a perfect example the lack of openness needed by the market at large..
Until this company becomes properly accountable to all and sundry it will wash in and out on every emotional tide.
