The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
The abject state of the UK energy supply can only be blamed on our own short- sighted and less than pragmatic government. While we have “ princess nut nut” who would prefer saving animals in precedence to Afghan interpreters and their families, the sensible jury of “ the ordinary man on the Clapham Omnibus” remains out.
Where a 72 years of age Ukrainian grandmother espouses her peaceful and generous nature but draws the line at an invader who wishes to take, she will readily be instructed in the defensive use of an AK 47- this is the mettle I admire.
I would readily accept an investment strategy that did not rely upon a war to line my pocket.

Or, in modern history, what happens when Twitter, Google, YouTube et al are negated by a Firewall but utilised by Wolf Warrior diplomats: “1984” George Orwell.

GP,
In my opinion, the answer to your point of Connaught lies with the Bondholders. Surely, they will be asking the pertinent questions of operation to date and, will be seeking strong assurances on future development in consonance with Exploration’s examples of proven success.
Clearly, drilling a further 4 wells without accord is a fools mission.
Harry
Exploration,
Many thanks indeed and, a Happy New Year to you.

Excerpt from RNS dated 13/10/2021
Over the coming weeks, a number of external studies, utilising the knowledge of specialist carbonate reservoir modelling energy consultants will be conducted, encompassing a wide range of potential reservoir stimulation treatments, the results of which could be applied to the West Newton series of wells, in order to achieve optimum flow rates.
Why has this plan for “optimum flowrates” not been included with the plan to drill a further 4 wells?
Another example of our great leaders incompetence, arrogance, condescension and contempt for SH’s.
Time they accepted their incompetence, non bona fides. Relinquish control to a singular competent CEO.

Uggy,
I agree.
It’s good to have pertinence on the board and perhaps will encourage the return of the knowledgeable.
Harry
Uggy,
FWIW, in my opinion, Rathlin seem to have careered blindly into WN.
We’ve had competent and experienced comment from “Exploration” on the methodology to extract hydrocarbons from difficult carbonate fields- in short, under balanced drilling with oil based muds.
However, we were advised by Rathlin that they would acidise A where they had failed with that process at B.
Clearly, S&S have no experience in the field. I would suggest one S walks away ( their stated modus is not working) opening the door for a competent Director in this specific field.
WN has hydrocarbons, we need to extract them. I have no confidence in well workovers or subsequent drilling of a further 4 wells unless specific proven methodology is employed.
Stay strong
Harry
and yet silence from our joint CEO’s.
Where is the “A” team plan of action which ought to be coincided with the upcoming Rathlin application?
Will they be content to maintain radio silence through December, collect their monthly salaries and have a very joyful holiday.
Harry
Many thanks
Harry
I am at a loss to reconcile the so called “A” team instructions to formulate a specialised plan to recover hydrocarbons from the carbonate and, Rathlin’s revised application.
It is reasonable to infer that Rathlin intend to proceed further with WN but why have we not been ascribed with the plan by RNS “in the coming weeks”.
S&S seem content to see the SP flushed into the sewage system.
Time they were gone.

Is it time such analysis by the said energy consultants is complete with an RNS reporting advised actions? Or will “ coming weeks “ evolve into “ coming “ months.
Harry
Exploration,
Many thanks for sharing your knowledge on these difficult carbonate structures. One can only hope they are consulting the competent 3rd Parties. Better still, why not employ a crew with experience of these horizontal specialised drills. I would be delighted to hear such news via RNS.
I have to say I was not enamoured nor surprised at the result when Rathlin announced they would approach the A2 test in the same method as B1.
