Winners where are they?? At Perth I hope 6.40 TANGOLAN been working well and the ground will suit only if good or better he doesn't like soft ground. My best bet of the day is Perth 5.10. OUR CAT he is 14lb better off over hurdles than his chasing official rating he's rated 107 hurdles and 121 chasing. Morning All, some good blogs reference tipsters from Philip and Emblaze yesterday. Very poor racing today as usual for a Monday. At Brighton 2.30 ENDEAVOUR made a good first appearance and should improve this Colt by ACCLAMATION. 3.00 SOARING SPIRITS Roberts travelling down from Yorkshire for just this one ride and as long as it's not too soft should take this. Windsor 2.50 ROSIE ROYCE EW made a very good first appearance of the season at Salisbury 3weeks ago and only slight improvement needed to take this and looks good value at 9/1. GLA

I will it today BLACK Saturday I don't think the rain helped!! Sunday's racing at my favourite track at York which was my local track when living at Hambleton. All my selections for York are trained at Hambleton which is at the top of Sutton Bank and where there is Hambleton Lodge where Kevin Ryan trains Hambleton House where Brian Smart trains an Inn and 4cottages and that's Hambleton. York 3.10 NAMITWHATYOULIKE EW Won the Great St Winfred at Ripon last time and should go close again. 3.40 KODICAT EW owned by my good friends Michael David and John Rielly who I got into racing with a horse I bought and were partners in TOP OF THE FORM and had great fun with in fact they enjoyed racing so much they bought Hambleton Lodge and Black Hambleton race course for Kevin to train from. KODICAT has had a break to strengthen up since her two runs in May and early June she had lots of speed but was a little weak but Kevin should have her spot on they paid £120.000 for her. 4.40 Laughton We have been on him every run and is fit and working well so the same can be said about LAGENDA EW in the same race. Fontwell 5.20 VULGANS WATCH with Sam T-D in the saddle won a good PTP in France and should improve. GLA

Busy Saturday great racing and I will be missing it all off to Newquay Pembroke to buy holiday chalet on better halfway orders!! In the Haydock Suoer Sprint at 4.30 DONJUAN TRIUMPHANT EW Richards says he's in great form at home right now and working well. He started to come into himself two weeks before his last run in France and is tight on his A-game now. Any rain would help and it looks like he will get some!! I will have a small EW also on GOKEN he working well and get a better run one of these days. Ascot 3.10. STARGAZER. In the Be Friendly Handicap 4.00 TANGERINE TREES EW has dropped in the handicap and could take this probably try to make it all. At Wolverhampton 5.50. FRAP with Adam McNamara in the saddle he's in very good form at home. 7.50 CHEERFUL CHARACTER EW. Richard says she a nice Filey who will win races. She's racing here because she hangs to the left and Wolverhampton should be ideal with its tight left handed bends. Sally Randall who trains in Wiltshire for the last year has her last runners as a trainer at Perth next week and then moves to Fergal O'Briens yard as his assistant trainer and she is Fergals partner as well so it's a good arrangement. She will be brining the best of her horses as well. Sally trained GOAL to win for Mark Hampson just before Mark sadly passed away, his daughter Broddie Hampson rode for her father. They also won The ROYAL ARTILLERY CUP with Broddie riding a brilliant finish,her dad served 25 years wth the ROYAL ARTILLERY. GLA

Finally my good friend and builder Eric has SEA FOX 1.40 Salisbury which he shares with the trainer David Evans is very Bullish for him to win today with John Egan in saddle. GLA

Just done a forecast on old stablemates and gallop partners Newton Abbot 5.05 POISONED BERRY and WHERE'S CHERRY to finish in that order as they would have on the gallops. Couldn't resist a £5er.

My old friend and my first trainer when Kevin Ryan was his Head Lad use to say "If horses could talk you probably wouldn't run them half the time" If you look at the form of TIGA TUAN on the 4th August and she's been working very well but with fillies on the day anything can go wrong like you don't when a Filey is in season until they run but ALICANTI DAWN who is probable a group horse made up for the loss.
