Have a look at this link it explains uncrossing trades (UT's)
https://www.shiftingshares.com/what-is-an-uncrossing-trade/
Really tight prices today the sell price went up from 6.5p to 6.54p closing at 6.52p
While the buy price went from a high of 6.7p down to 6.56p at the close. With Just 894,705 shares traded. Seems to be some consolidating taking place.
There are now companies offering zero commission trading platforms with the one I use the quoted price is delayed so I sometimes sell the minimum amount of shares (£2) to establish the upto date price. It may be just 1 share at £2 or 4 shares at 50p.
The two 900,000 trades @ 10.42 look like buys as the price was 11.70 to sell and 11.88 to buy at around that time.
Doubled my holding yesterday.
ATB.
Looking at the whole clean energy sector it has retraced following a very good recent rise.
ishares ETF INRG is down - 21.43%
CWR down - 17.18%
ITM down - 27.58%
PHE down - 24.73%
AFC down - 24.00%
All the above is based on the last 21 days.
It is not unusual for this to happen.
IMHO.
Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with being a Trader (I know you're not saying that there is) . I just wanted to point out that there are different types of traders.
I personally hold a core amount of AFC shares for the long term (100k) been holding for over 12 years, it's a number I'm happy to hold but I still like to trade other shares on a short time basis and quite often AFC is one of my best choices for a short time gain, I would guess over the years this has happened maybe 100 times and been quite profitable.
Is anyone prepared to explain this share to me in very simple terms (this is a sector that I don't have a clue on but need to try and understand).
Or direct me to somewhere I could find out.
Thanks in advance.
Ex AFC Energy CEO Gerard Sauer talks to Skill Builder about the whole EV industry in a very informative way.
I was quite shocked when AFC was mentioned early on in the interview as I was just watching because I used to be a builder and I'm still interested in plumbing so I follow skill builder for basic tips.
If you want to know more about the EV sector and have a bit of time to watch this Youtube video I think you might find it interesting.
