You can carry forward losses to offset against any gains in future years, but I believe you have to submit this information on your tax return every year that you have a loss from that year that you wish to carry forward.

Ok, I'll give you another clue. If there had been no buybacks since 2018, the share count at last TVR RNS would have been 76,666,870,960 shares in issue.

Fakey, let me help you as everyone knows you are clueless! Lloyds commenced buybacks on 8th March 2018 after the GFC. The TVR RNS at the time was 72,086,432,586 shares. The last TVR RNS was 62,517,339,691 shares. So, what is the net reduction in shares with buybacks taking into account shares issued in that time frame?

Exactly. The total cost of last years dividend of 2.76p per share based on 63.5 billion shares was £1,752,600,000. If the NET reduction in shares with the 2024 buyback is 3 billion, then for the same total cost of £1,752,600,000 the total dividend would be 2.9p per share which is an increase of 5.1%.
