More nonsense from you. The FTSE had reached record highs after Labour took office, and I am not a Labour voter, I have voted Tory every election except the last when I voted Reform. The world stock market cratering is 100% down to the lunatic that is POTUS Donald Trump. Stock markets around the world have plummeted since Trump imposed his extortionate tariffs on the rest of the world. Trump is solely responsible for the carnage in world markets and it is he who is wrecking workers pensions. Ironic given that US markets had also reached record highs prior to this.

A good day for SP today. Taking into account the x-div drop this morning, todays rise in SP was 6.5%.

I don't know why you bother responding to Carltt or whatever alias he is using, it only feeds his warped ego and encourages him to carry on posting his venomous bile. Life is much simpler if you filter him like I do so you don't get frustrated reading his nonsense. He is the only one I have on filter.

MM's taking the pi55 again this morning, I wonder how many got sucked in at open paying 69p+? They will now be sitting on a -4.3% loss with current SP circa 66.3p

Interesting to see how this pans out when the euphoria over Trumps back down yesterday wears off? Lets not forget everyone is still paying a tariff of 10% which for most will still be 2 or 3 times more than they were previously paying, when this sinks in sentiment may turn negative again. Trump and his team should act in good faith now and get negotiations underway immediately to remove this large increase every country still faces having to pay 10%. And lets not forget the further escalation with China. When Trump used this tactic in 2018/2019 against China only, it still affected global markets even though it was between US and China, taking them lower until Trump backed down. We're not out of the woods yet IMO.

Today of all days Lloyds going x-div! At least we should recover the x-div drop today and hopefully more, closing day SP around 65p - 66p? Hopefully higher?
