They'll get a better idea of the reservoir's deliverability of any moveable HC's post-testing as in how many BOPD flowed. Next update should b about reaching casing point, running casing string, waiting on cement & then preparing to pressure test the BOP.

For now Logging while drilling tool that sits just behind the drillbit should start to relay any inherent change in the drill mud's property if light oil is present in the formation at their prognosed depths. This should b verified by oil shows from the cuttings & increase in gas readings of C1 to C5 on the gas chromatograph. This basically tells u that HC's r present. What one needs here is commercial & movable quantity of HC's which is confirmed from the WL logs & fluid sampling. Hope this helps.

Its a shallow well with the proposed TD around 6500ft. Next stop is casing point at 2500ft. Should run 9" casing unless otherwise.

They've switched to the LWD assembly which should give a realtime view of the gamma & resistivity readings as they drill ahead.

Estimated target is around 4900 feet at which point they'll do run wireline logs & conduct MDT fluid sampling. MDT basically helps to suss out the permeability, drawdown, fluid quality etc. Post TD they'll run full suite of wireline logs etc. GLTA.

We are into day 3 of potentially discovering a 400m resource.

Good times might just be around the corner!

Also the very small fact of conventional farm out due any day now. I would not want to be biding time and not holding 88e shares.

Extended target was deal by end of Q1. We are now halfway through Q1.

The farm out deal has every chance of adding pennies onto our share price.

If oil shows are first released on ASX you won’t have a cat in hells chance of getting in at a low price here. ASX will close and LSE will open up at a 100% premium as an example.

Everything on track and great to see 88E in an active drill campaign again.

Target is 400 million barrels of oil (144 million barrels net to 88E) and the best bit for me is the close proximity to the Horseshoe well.

We are now midway through Q1 and within weeks we should see oil shows (hopefully) and have announced a farm out of the conventional within the next 6 weeks.

Very exciting times.

What has Winx upcoming drill got to do with the conventional farm out? Nothing, it is not on offer. Two separate projects.

The conventional farm out can be announced at any time. Like this afternoon. tomorrow, next week or the end of March.

First the shareholding register updated and now current acreage.

But do not forget, the first oil shows can be as early as the last few days in February.

I keep forgetting that we have only 3D 25% of acreage. The numbers are just huge, hard to contemplate. Who knows what we will find on the other 75%...

To suggest DW is using the farm out of conventional (a more valuable project against winx) to make 88E look half decent against RMP is very naive.
