Managed to get out Friday at 1320p
Tempted to go back in a few times today but I didn’t do it. It does look a massive over reaction and hammering of the share price yesterday. Massive stimulus packages in US and U.K.and the EU.

Gold & Silver on the move

most gold miners are down today . Hopefully we climb a bit from now to the end of the day as people buy in on this excellent opportunity

in the last 4-5 months we all know the market has been springing some surprises, Hoc numbers may be better than expected tomorrow. I hope they are!

Happy with my entry point here at 542. Hoping to make a good 10-15% on any positive vaccine news.

Coming next week, wonder if this will have some pleasant surprises to give a kick to the shareprice.
In hindsight, i should have sold in 300s, but i do believe this will reach highs at some point in the medium term if the Gold & Silver prices stay at current levels and continue on the way up.
Hoc is an old company, family run. I beleive it made it through the WW2 and all the other historic events in between then and now and got out the other side. I can't imagine Eduardo Hochschild wanting to be the Hochschild that failed!

My uneducated guess would be more economic stimulus expected on top of the mass money printing already gone ahead, China / US tentions seem to be esculating (closing consulate in Houston came out last night), production shortages of silver, rising virus cases, weaker dollar...
What do I know though, the above reasons helped me to make my mind up on purchasing some of these this morning.

since we have seen the price at these levels. Being a LT holder my average is 237 so its a nice relief to see it back at these levels.

This share just tends to explode out of nowhere in the middle of a trading day.
With everything going for it right now, gold & silver going up, surely we shall see a big spike up at some point

Didnt think we would be going this way today. Gold and silver both falling now after jobs data from US, we could end the day around 5% down.

Bit of a shock from the unemployment data. I think the market was pricing in an increase in unemployment and not a reduction. Good news though, behind every figure is a person and it is good that the economy in the US is already showing signs of recovery, be interesting to see data in coming months.

There has been a lot of sales in the last couple days.
I am looking to build a position here but hoping it will drop back into the 2.60s. Even with the sells it must have strong support.
I have been really impressed over the years with the management of this company. Seems to be a good performer.

i wonder why they aren't mentioning the cancellation of the dividend as a reason why the cash balance is higher...any ideas?
