When this share is rising, everyone assumes it will continue to rise. When it starts to fall everyone assumes it is about to crash...such is human nature.

With a less volatile stock we have faith in tomorrow and next week/month/year but here we are all standing precariously balanced on the edge (like the end of The Italian Job) hoping that our fellow investors don’t rock the bus too much.

I am looking forward to next week (win or lose) just so I can finally get some sleep.

There will be a lot of new EVs on the road in the next 5-10 years. There’s no doubt about that.
However, most of the non-metallic parts on those vehicles will be manufactured from petroleum-derived materials...as will the chargers. And the electricity will be produced by power stations using mostly petroleum-derived fuel. Even when the world goes electric, we use petroleum for just about everything: clothes, computers, medicines, textiles, etc, etc
