The case of (deliberate) dragging5 Feb 2018 18:13
Evening guys,
I won't act to know the answers to why KB and BEM acting as they did with the 23 page submission to the governemt, but I do have a couple of linked ideas;
1)
Election year in sweden sep. 2018,
Atm the government is made up of 2 parties, soc. Dems and the environmental party (Miljö partiet (MP)),
The current environment minister is from MP and is an outspoken hostile of the Kallak project. The Polls atm aimes for MP to have a terrible election where they amongst other things is set to lose their government involvement. The soc. Dems, on the other hand is set to her a near-perfect election.
So if BEM asks for an extended government handling, incl. Statements from parties/officials already positive on the Kallak project, BEM gains atleast two things;
Less political obstruction & and an even tighter case.
2)
Debunking the laponia/reindeer problem with historical facts and science.
3)
Maping of the reindeer cross routes; the sames have now for a couple of years on multiple occassions that Kallak is the dead middle of the important grazeing and restitution area... i suspect BEM to try and do an actual count of the scope these reindeers are moved thru the peninsula, which i Think is not happening,
Just my thoughts
Sound critique is welcomed, but please bring valid points
Have a nice evening
