The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Great start to the day...lots of chunky buys! Looking bullish towards the AGM/update next week.
Nice find. I don't see any reason why the Bioplastics division doesn't go from strength to strength.
Update due next week (Last year posted Nov 1st) expecting bullish results....
From last update 'Revenues for the full year 2018 are now anticipated to be significantly higher than 2017'. Mcap is crazy low considering our YE revenue is likely to be similar to todays Mcap :O
Greg...I suggest you patiently wait a few weeks for the update, before jumping to conclusions.
There has been plenty of speculation as to why HC sold a part of his holding (agree it doesn't look good), but, if the revenue, GP & NP are increasing at a nice rate it becomes irrelevant...
That is an awful summary and you seem to be putting a spin on what is obviously great results;
Overall, the Group's average selling price has risen by 9.4% to £284,937 (2017 - £260,354), with this rise in part influenced by the greater proportion of private homes sold. The private average selling price has risen by 9.3% to £323,426 (2017 - £296,018), driven by investment in higher value, yet affordable locations throughout the country, where strong demand and robust pricing has influenced land acquisition over recent years.
Excuse my ignorance...How do you find the 'best seller' ranking information?
It's hard not to believe after doing research. The 'Final Results' RNS said enough for me to think the next update is going to be positive....
"The Company is trading in line with expectations post year end and is well positioned for future revenue and profit growth from our stable of strong brands."
Hmmm lots of large sells this afternoon...i'm still very positive regarding next months update! Do we have a date for the AGM?
Looking strong! Nice bit of buying pressure...expecting to move up to Fair Value soon :)
