If the tram lines can be trusted (technical trading), the drop is about done so sp should go up in the next week or so.
I don't think that Boom pays attention to the events in Ukraine. SP rises and falls for unrelated reasons.

I didn't think that Audioboom was the kind of business that could be affected by today's act of war.
Could it be that investors expected RNS outlining takeover details, instead of a mere outline of new shows being added?

Why this drop today? If anyone is in the know.
Dissapointed with the RNS or something else caused it?

Audioboom made a remarkable resurection from almost a dead company to returning good profits for shareholders.
Even those who bought well before the share consolidation should now be very pleased with their holding.
Some will sell to lock in profit. Others may hold in expectations of dividends or take over. Whatever one's investment strategy, I agree that Boom has brought a gread deal of positivity in the last year and this one. What's not to be happy about it?

Actually, I see that admin has done some tidying up the board and MasterRSI's most insulting barkings have been removed. Perhaps we won't hear from him for 7 days, if also punished for misbehaving.

Trader258, MasterRSI is truly an unpleasant person who barks like a durty street dog, but this board is about shares in companies, not about personal conflicts between members. I suppose that he provoked you, hence your responses. He does the same with me. Best to ignore him.
I personally won't wish anyone any losses. Neither will I eny when someone is happy with their profits. We aren't a family, gain or loss doesn't affect anyone else who posts on this board.
Everyone is responsible for their own investment decisions. If you find a post offensive, report it. Admin was much more quick to act in the past. It seems that they don't care anymore though. Hence the proliferation of vile posts like the RSI guy.
Good luck if you are invested or trade Boom and others. I'm only on CFD with Boom, small exposure at the moment. The shares I held previously and sold, paid substantial chunk of my mortgage.

@jonjon1, although I sold my shares last week, I still have exposure in CFD, so this rise is as beneficial to me as for everyone else.
I don't get the stupidity of MasterRSI, but idiots are everywhere, so I can't be bothered.

MasterRSI, you can't derive anything from RSI and other technical indicators here. With major indices and shares, there's scope for it. But I doubt that little traded shares like audioboom follow any panterns. Good news and the share may double. A bit of uncertainty and back down to £1 and bust.

I sold all my holding in audioboom today at 1775p. I was going to wait for £20.00.
I know that this may become the next Tesla, but also risk being pump and dump. Hence my decision.
I was close to hit the sell button last week at 1806p but decided to be patient. Later on it transpired that the directors offloaded shares and tanked the price.
One can never know with these shares. My trust in the Candy brothers and the whole use of streaming services isn't great.

It's a dead duck and has dead since 2014 at least.
However, don't rule out compensation yet. It is best if all shareholders respond to FCA that they relied on the RNS from WRN when buying shares before the infamous suspension in October. Also, that they did not sell their gifted Whetstone shares because Dougie was giving promises in his Q&A as well as AE was taking big words about all potential deals still on the table and performing much better than anticipated. In short, we we're duped by false information and mugged in broad daylight.

The above is followed by several other pages. I have responded in full and will provide any other information that FCA may ask.
The letter also state they will provide an update albeit it may take awhile as they consider the replies from shareholders.

You may ask AE. I am sure he will not deny that FCA is after them.

FCA does not mention compensation. Their primary goal is to investigate WRN directors and allies for market fraud, making false public statements.
If we can get compensation this would be fantastic for the shareholders.

I cannot see what is so difficult to understand here. I personally will cooperate fully and if called as a witness in Court, I'd glad go and even more gladly, I'll look at the idiots in the dock.

Whetstone will most likely go. FCA is investigating everything linked to WRN. Presumably Con&Co have realised that there is no escape so why pay £15 for the annual confirmation statement...

All shareholders who bought in September- October 2014 period will be contacted. If shares are held through a nomenee, FCA takes details from them .

I'll respond to FCA . I am not clear on this, but hopefully shareholders will be compensated whether from the assets of those implicated or some designated fund.

We have had this carrot dangling for almost 4 years? Why not have it for another 4 years?
And it has been silly since October 2014. It became clear that nothing would come out of WRN as early as that time.
