Come on, the guys a crank...
Lets move on from giving this self centered, money obsessed clown....he dosen't deserve any more air time...
And those who still think he's the Aim Oil Guru; you need to take off the blinkers and do a bit more research.
West Newton is one of the most exciting drills with highest CoS to happen in the UK....Gas was discovered and flowed to some extent until problems arose. The well was stabilized, deemed unsafe to continue and abandoned.
A lot was learnt from the 2014 Drill and a new well design to cope with the pressures has been worked out.
The CoS of hitting the gas is virtually 100%.... the new well is only 20ft from the original well.
TOTAL have the infrastructure right on the doorstep and will be watching very closely as this progresses.
I personally expect TOTAL will take this out on success..
And in the mean time we have the appeal over Wressle........which the four partners are throwing everything at to get this over the line....they are not walking away from up to 1000bopd of production.
And we must not forget Biscathorpe....
Yep....very disappointing, Ive lost track of the amount of times i've walked the public footpath around the site.
But, its not over there yet....once the data has been analyzed properly, hopefully the reservoir is as close as they think and a decision to side track will be made. If the data's good then the CoS of success from a side track is very high.
There's the usual rigmarole of permissions and funding and etc but that's OIL and Gas exploration for you...
I wouldn't write it off as a Duster just yet....
There are some very switched on informed LTH holders in UJO who I hold the utmost respect for, James Bez Berry, Mixter and Biglad being just three of them.
I believe in Union Jack Oil and know that David Bramhill will deliver for the holders......with or without CO being an investor...
and for clarity my twitter is Roofershound....I'd change the name here if I could :-)
