You’re too funny Helx - you can’t even spell so I’m even less inclined to listen to your misdirections. Really should just sell up and leave if you deem bidstack to be un-investable - but you won’t coz you don’t hold any shares! Please keep banging your drum - it’s hilarious.
The tone of your posting history strongly suggests otherwise. It's also a darn shame you've invested in something you deem to be un-investable - too good lol
I guess it must be nice to just have a spare £11m to take a blind punt on something... unless...!
it's 'looser' & there is no way you're a shareholder given your track record of posting! - why would you continue to trash something you're invested in? lol - clearly those with £11m to invest see value in supporting the project.
You're here for one of the two reasons I posted previously.
says the Turnip who only posts on bidstack & has made 139 related posts across in the last 30 days, all of which are negatively biased lol.
So you're here because either:
1. You're employed to troll bidstack (20p a post?)
2. You want to buy at a lower entry point.
Classy guy
I think a key selling point is the fact that Mode are attempting to go about their business the correct way - i.e. by obtaining regulatory approvals. A lot of other entrants to the space have sound ideas but leave themselves open to the risk of being shut-down / falling foul imposed requirements.
Also - don't forget the US listing news which should arrive very soon - American appetite for this type of business (based on mode's peers) could be a fair bit higher than in the UK.
As always DYOR.
Hey NtD, I think it was perhaps more the way your post was written - I.e ‘help me change my mind or I will sell my shares’ that made me bite. Nothing wrong in asking clear questions about the business in the forum. I do agree with you on the point that the use of mode clearly has a ££ benefit for businesses but might now be lacking enough of an incentive for the user. The Bitcoin jar did catch upon the recent crypto wave and will have dragged a few (myself included) into downloading the mode app. The idea is that businesses on the saved transaction fees can pass back a bit of their savings directly onto customers in some form - think Tesco’s club card. This is the draw but will take time and patience to achieve the volumes / trend shift required to make the mega bucks. Key is - businesses will want to drive the change here as in the long run it will save them a lot of money.
Why put it to this board to decide whether or not you sell your shares? Did you buy Mode for the bitcoin jar? It's not difficult to work out what has happened re the removal of this element.
Fundamentally has anything else actually changed with respect Mode's operational strategy? I would suggest not - they are still seeking to provide secure, open-banking services to businesses with significantly lower transaction fees, provide tailored trends, information & offers via open-banking (B2C), provide bitcoin rewards for customers with respect to their purchases, directly open up & connect open-banking solutions between consumers & China all whilst operating within the ever-expanding financial regulations. If the system is safe, works and has tangible business benefits (mode has all 3) I'm confident it will succeed. The only issue right now is a lack of exposure / awareness.
Should also add - the price point right now is a lot better for buying than selling if you're still on the fence..!
The FCA move / clampdown on binance is an interesting but perhaps expected development further to the increasing regulatory control over the crypto/open banking-space. In hindsight (only a weekend thereof..!) mode made have made the right call to play with a straight bat, drop (temporarily?) an aspect of the business that may attract criticism (from the perspective of the regulators) & simultaneously obtain FCA approval - interesting timing in light of the binance news! Talk about successfully guiding the ship through a proverbial mine-field. Still very much early days here - but it feels good to be in at the start.
