Statement was not for FOG to develop mako with its scarce resources, but rather use this current EU situation to sell the "asset". There is not, and will not, be a better time to do so.

I mentioned this many months ago on this board. POQ has all but written off the Mako. However, if the number one goal is for Europe to be energy independent (from Russia), then cost to develop should not be an issue. Perhaps the goal is not to become energy independent, but rather dependent on US LNG? US is now an exporter. And now that the US owns Beetaloo, it can address Asian markets also.

Agree. And I'm sure BS was counting on that also...a tool to wait out holders till he swoops in and buys for nothing. I think we need to take part in each block until share price has appreciated considerably (if that ever happens). This is going to be rough going forward...and favourable for BS. Origin screwed us huge.

I'm feeling more and more like Ireland and Irish backers may be a good fit here...and that is not because of POQ, but POQ sure would help in this regards.

In the release it states that FOG has 30 days to NOTIFY of INTENT. I don't see a timeline on when the deal has to be completed with financing and specifics on terms. So I believe they have full 30 days to just make a decision and give noticeboard intent.

Agree totally. IMHO, this is the path that must be taken by POQ and supported by shareholders.

It is not that simple. An acquisition can require 100% of the shares and you will be forced to relinquish your shares at "market" value.

I just do not believe our 22.5% is safe, knowing who we are dealing with.

But I will add that it will be taken from FO retail shareholders in the most unethical means necessary and will have the full support and backing of the US government. Like I've said, they have tried everything for years to shake us retailers, now no more BS. Hegemony will get this play.
