This is what I am thinking too, everyone panics when they see the short figure creep up but it could well be they're just hedging.

I believe Shopify would have been a competitor but they sold their logistics arm to Flexport, maybe it wasn't viable for them due to the varied size of their customers businesses and why THG have decided to target big business only.

Alot of negativity here lately but I am still holding as I think this will come good in the long run, I think the recent down trend is mainly macro related.

I know MM takes alot of flak here but he has eluded to an ingenuity partner in the pipeline which is greater than 1 billion gmv alone and I don't think he would sit there and straight up lie about something like that, more likely these deals just take a long time to finalise, we need to be patient.

Something which I don't think has been spoken about is that he mentioned on the last call a deal with a major coffee partner for a protein drink (hope I am remembering correctly), looking forward to seeing who that is, if it's someone like Costa that could be quite lucrative.

This is how I see it too Hardwell. The 4th possibility is that something positive is coming down the line at THG and he can benefit from it by proxy through holding Kelso shares. I am trying not to read more in to it as nobody but he knows the truth. Just hoping for a positive update in the new year.

Just catching up on the events of the week. Forgive me if this is nonsense or already been discussed but could the buys in to Kelso be a way of exploiting their large stake in THG to capitalise on insider information?

In other words by using Kelso to indirectly invest in THG and benefit from some news that would cause a re rate in THG and benefit by proxy without inccurring the wrath of the FCA.

I have resigned myself to just waiting for the next trading update as IR here is not existent as has been well documented on this board. But would welcome a nice surprise RNS to drop between now and then to give this stock a bit of fuel.

Still above all of the moving averages, market just seems a bit nervous today. Maybe to do with the autumn statement tomorrow.

I'm not expecting them to announce the date of the results as far as I can see they did not announce (at least via an rns) last year.

Why does that being true mean I must be very rich? I said it would improve your performance and anecdotally speaking it has improved my own. If you are stock picking then your goal is to improve your alpha, it has improved mine.

This is what I mean, you make a statement regarding technical analysis and people turn around and make out like you're saying you have some magic money making formula when I said no such thing.

Technicals analysis is nothing more than taking a best guess given historical price action of what may happen in the future. What people who do not like/use it often choose to hear is that they are firm predictions.

The fact is if you apply some basic technical principles to your investing strategy like stage analysis and don't buy anything that's below a 200 moving average as part of your investing strategy imo you will increase your performance in the markets.

Agreed Anacott it's become resistance if it can turn into support before the end of the week that would be great.
