I am very inexperienced at this and appreciate your wisdom.To me the versatility of this device is very exciting especially as it is so cheap, but what you says make a lot of sense anyone buying the unit at present to use would looking at its value for the tests available at the minute. On the other hand anyone thinking of purchasing the company in its entirety would, I think find its future scope of huge interest.

genedrive is a very different thing to the Orasure device which is a one off single shot test. The potential for many other tests on the genedrive hardware makes this so interesting to me. TB saliva test (obviously with some issues which have been ironed out.) HepC test blood test. The interesting question is what else is in the pipeline. The over all potential is huge. Its kinda like the version one of the star trek scanners :)

there was one reasonable sized sell of around 50k but to be honest all the trades have been tiny. today is promising all buys as far as I can see and moving upwards 2p rise so far (does someone know something we don't) we still well within normal for kite mark award so. if someone is buying up at this price we should see some action soon. It will take a very small number of buys to have a big effect I think. Those that are still here are here for the duration so there will be few shares available to buy when interest starts to pick up, we may see one or two of the investment companies jocky for position we will see. Going to be fun :) has been an interesting rather rocky road with this one.

Very good questions troy. The US DOD have pumped significant money in to genedrive from genedrives point of view but from DOD its tiny investment. To still be in the running is an achievement tbh I am guessing they are a very cheap option with a quick turn round of results which has kept them in the running. Be interesting to see how that one plays out. Kite mark and Hep c test are main drive and what ever they look at next. I am guessing blood related maybe HIV after hep c makes sense be nice to know though tbh.

@troytotiber thanks again. Re. US DOD contract I am guessing its quiet hard for companies outside US to get these? In todays climate a cheap hand held device which identifies contaminants from a terror attack would open a huge market. After research I am less worried about Kite mark it will happen just a matter of when we just past 16 week mark which is quiet normal I hear. They have proved the tech works so should just be a matter of time.

ok so after a bit of research 12 to 16 weeks is completely normal for CE Cert (we are nearing the end of that period) It seams it is also quiet usual for that to extend a little. trading figures were an improvement and resulted in some reasonably sized buy ins. It also looks probable that they have sorted out technical problems with tb test which would give this device two proven tests one from blood sample one from siliva. The potential is therefore huge. Would be good to know where they are heading with future tests. @troytotiber thanks for info on Beckton Dickinson they do seam a good match I am a little inexperienced at this situation how would it work? after the kite mark a distribution deal with a company then?

any news on CE cert absolute silence from company? Will they announce distribution deal at same time? If so do we know who they are talking to? Or who would be interested? I doubt a problem with CE cert, the evidence was quiet conclusive and the companies scientific pedigree is impressive, but have no idea how long it normally takes. any ideas? I really like the offer from genedrive just completely frustrated with lack of info. Is this common with small bio-techs?
