there is a lot of science here and it is confusing. Thing is, as Bladderman says the potential is huge here. every hospital health centre ect having the ability to test people at point of care. Not just for Corvid-19 but for a huge range of ailments as the tests become available all on the genedrive platform. Where those facilities are to distant then genedrive is mobile and cheap enough and simple enough to be used.
After that there are also possibilities in many none health care settings and scientific research. I vaguely remember something about a study into prawns somewhere which utilised genedrive.
The device is already used by the US military and the NHS which of the competitors now shouting out about there products has that sort of track record? The Genedrive works, its been tried and tested over many years of development.
It has huge potential. It is just a shame we have to be in a pandemic and people die before it starts to be realised

My guess and it is only a guess is that there is an RNA marker which all corvid viruses have which the genedrive will recognise. Unless the mutations actually in this section of RNA then it will be recognised.

Not just a great contract but a gentle reminder of just how versatile this device really is. The potential of the genedrive unit to be the go to test platform for thousands of different situations medical and commercial across the world. C-19 maybe the focus at the minute but after its beaten governments and health services world wide are going to need an affordable plan for the next virus and that quiet frankly is genedrive. Potential is and always has been mind blowing.

hey mate one of the interesting things about genedrive RNS's and statements from genedrive's Board is that they are (since the departure of M. Walls) rather understated, factual and lacking in speculation and hype. In my opinion if they stated they are looking for a none dilutive cash raise then that's what they are doing and are almost certainly well down the path of achieving it, before the RNS was posted.
