Just watched a whole television program about protein, and guess what they showed / highlighted APN their products and their factory /warehouse. So they have just got free tele / press benefits. MM has missed out again. He needs to get his act together soon.

Can't believe the SP now at 37-38p , when you read the last RNS trading up-date it had NO real negatives and all positives to push/drive the SP up.

So the business is in a much better shape now than it was and it looks like MM has been doing his job, so no matter what the city and shorters do the SP will go back up. So at this price it's got to be a no brainer of a buy, with up grades or takeover coming. Buy buy buy.

Good up date and should help, but it looks like all/any benefits will be 1-2 years away and that means the SP could stay around this level.

The Dame has been there for years now and all the large shareholders could have made a move to remove the Dame many times if they had wanted to do so.They haven't because the city haven't wanted her to leave because they have made more money with her there with all the SP ups and downs, plus the Divi's.For all the rubbish talked and posted on here by the same loser's has made diddly squat difference and she will stay there until she has made millions more and sold off more.

It looks like something could be happening some,why have we only 11 trades so far today is the city waiting for news and that's why there is almost no trades.

All this talk to rubbish the Dame over the last 1-2 years by omalley and contrarian has done nothing and we are still trading in a range of 70p-85p. You both keep going on about many losing money but many are buying and selling for profits and still making money, plus getting the Divi.

If a bid of some sorts does come the the SP will be what it will be.

So following a great RNS and good results to date ,going by many experts / posters etc no one really seems to know why the SP has dropped from 52p to 41p.

If it is simply shorts or high selling volume, then surely the SP will come back up in the next few weeks and make this a big buy now.

Tom i think many on here have seen you for last 3+ years rant, rant ,rant about the Dame and convinced no one otherwise many would have sold.

Stop wasting you time because no one is paying any attention to you no matter what name you use.If the Dame does make a deal and pushed the SP up to £1-£2 we will all be happy.

In the meantime say something positive.

I have read all these posts about replacing the Dame for years all trying to put all the blame on her for the low SP, and to be honest they have all been a waste of time because it's all been about the secter. Ok there has also been talk for years about ITV being too small and the business needs to get bigger and change sectors et.

Well after doing just that by building the business and getting bigger and now selling part of the business it could all change. So when a deal is done and the SP hits £1-£2 just how many of these posters will then start to praise the Dame.

The trouble is it's not a takeover offer it's just an offer for some of the business, so why would the SP go up.

With a sales of any part of the business, it leaves less of a total business and less revenue with less profits down the line.

I sold some at 84p last week and expect to see the SP at 75p-79p this week where I will buy more back. There's no G/Tee any deal will be done, but wouldn't be surprised to see a full ITV offer, then the SP will rocket.

All very true,but we have all seen these move before where a company sells part of the business hoping the SP goes up but it's not a takeover and often the SP stays where it is.

Sometimes the city see the total business goes down and total profits go down from the part of business being sold.

Still think the only real shareholder benefit comes from a takeover offer, but I guess we will all have to wait a little longer. If the government are prepared to let ITV split I think they would let a full takeover go through.For now and until a deal is done i can see ITV SP maybe going down a little.

Good post BigEgo, but ITV has been valued much higher than the SP should be for the last 2 years.Now even if/when we get an offer for the studio business there is no G/Tee that the SP will go up and more likely the money come off debt and maybe a special divi of 5p-10p.

I have held many of these for years, but sold some at 84.15 yesterday hoping to buy back at 79p this week while we all wait for weeks to find out what does happen with any sale.but if there is no sale the SP could drop back to 70p. So now it's a guess where the SP ends up.

But the company did say they will trade out of trouble and that means cutting costs and jobs, it's always sad when anyone loses their job at any time of the year and I am sure many of us have also been affected in the same way. But if this is true I guess the city will love this and push up the SP, maybe it will all be in the trading up date next week or so.

I can't see the Dame going anywhere until the sale is sorted and she gets £m's for getting it done,why would she leave for another job with even bigger problems. £1 next week.

Omalley, stop making up stories,no one has said the Dame should go and no one has asked for criozier to comeback.

Contrarian, you do come on here with your normal childish waffle whenever ITV goes down trying to make out that it's all ITV'S problem and trying to get one over on all their shareholders.But today is all about Labour and the markets.plonker give it a rest.

Maybe they are just waiting to put the last/latest bit of good news into it. Probably within the next 10 days.

Just how long will be before we get the normal de-rampers /negative posts saying liberty are pulling out because ITV are going under or other stupid remarks.

So liberty selling about half their holding taking them down to 5% but no mention of sale price or who to yet. Will this open the door for someone else to make a bid.?.

Maybe they are saving all this information for the trading up date in a few weeks time, but even so they should still tell us now if the buyers think it's such a a good deal to we should also use this info as good media /shareholder information.
