To me this just looks like some shareholders are tired of hints, giving up on jam tomorrow.

Lets hope some test results get released sooner rather than later!

7 days before last years 3rd quarter update.

There was talk of one of the rig options being shipped in via canal, so if drill starts in November time will start getting tight as we go into October.

I find it slightly unusual that AAOG keeps talking about 2 rigs. I do not really care just tell me when you have hired it. I wonder if they represent 2 distinct options, rather than just 2 rigs.

My favourite, far fetched idea is:-
The locality near Point Noire port seems pretty convenient place to repair a rig. By impounding that rig a few months ago, did it enable the oil rig company to write off an asset temporarily / claim insurance / or even simply a way of saving face while the kit gets repaired?

I think AAOG have been playing, but trying to reason it is the hard part. Guess we all find out in another few weeks. Really hope we just get back to just drilling for oil.

I used to have 15k+ in this share for about a year solid, but the radio silence finally did my head in. Price is pretty keen at the moment so I may buy more. Being honest my other shares are all scraping a long too :D. I am only in for around 5K atm. I sold hard on the upside a few months back, even if it as a damp sqwib. They need to work out that a news feed of interesting updates is essential to AIM. Do not feel the need to do updates, no problem you're a Buy low Sell high investment to me. I am sure things are going on but I personally feel like a bank loan atm.

And if RBD is not doing dividends (i.e. reinvesting hard), they will be very very proactive in getting Parta, Cali, and West Newton valued asap. Finally to release value and invest elsewhere.

The waiting bit, is the hard part :D.

At least we have some basic outline of project path for the site. I assume the rig choice is being held off as long as possible to see how the re-entry works progress. If the rig is coming by canal there is also a balance to getting the kit to site. Maybe well get a heads up for the rig in early October?

I re-entered at 3.75p. That price with a team preparing works to re-enter well :O.

Well this is getting awkward.

I think people will start buying as a punt with a Spud + 16a results. We are probably getting passed the over hype of the first well as long as it comes in as viable. Certainly there are a few oil aim shares not mentioned on these boards that are higher risk, with one roll of the dice plays.

I am in as a punt possibly transfer at as LTH post 2nd well (I like the idea of that survey mixed with the geologist they have on board).

I think everyone can see DB is very positive about the whole project. Just have to wait, shame twitter turned into a shouting match :(.

Without an RNS I cannot see how it will be 'explosive'. Ill just hold and wait.

Just bought 2k worth in 2 buys. Have no more wiggle room. Hardest thing is not jumping from one ship to another :D.

Correct not been invested for long, but the drop, money raised, plus a well in the ground was enough to get my attention. Would be happy at being in at 3p that is for sure!

Aside from the price collapse, having funding in place and a well in the ground producing (assuming it is in profit) is a pretty nice place to be. The thing with placings is when the SP collapses and money is running out, you really really wish the Director had done a raise.

If the flow improvement is really slow I think they need to take a 'BLOE' (sorry) to the chin. Just fess up. Give us a lowball figure for the flow,'got it wrong sorry'. Aside from the shady possibilities sometimes things do actually just turn bad. What I do not like is keeping quiet, possibly releasing news after 38 starts drilling.

Now the hard part, waiting in anticipation :D.
