Aerial - I agree but that's only a week ago - we must be c7% down since early July? (And well over 20% down since early May?)
We need some positive news.
Teaye - I suspect there will be long term holders here who haven't reduced their average over the years who will be well over 90% down.
And that is not pointing the finger at Edenville - that's a reflection of AIM shares that continually use the market to raise money, dilute, place, repeat etc.
Don't get me wrong, some come good, but many simply burn through cash and leave PIs with next to nothing.
I'm hoping we get some transfomrational news shortly, as our share price is very slowly dropping through the support levels.
Well, they will get a sniff of any unoficial chats over lunch regarding possible offers well before we will as PIs.
All we need is another bidder, then the fireworks will start.
We may well have a decent lump of debt, but we have a decently performing business. 250p was a bit of a punt by Ramsay - they know that.
Sausage - I left London many years ago and it would be a day trip out for me now. I simply don't have that time to spare.
Oh dear.
It's really unnecessary aerial
There hasn't been a cross word on here since Wednesday lunch time last week. Can't we keep it civil?
If I was free, the ten minute walk to Borough Market would be enough to get me there
Teaye - hasn't Arc's exclusivity agreement with Anglo American just expired? Surely they must be a takeover target at some point in the near future (not invested there BTW but been on my watchlist since 8p ish)
aerial - perhaps we should simply get Craig or one of the LSE Admin team to post something on here so we can return to a sense of normality.
Why do I need to email LSE?
I know it's not me.
Although I think the phrase you used on Monday was something like sad fragile case?
The verbal abuse and undermining of posters on this board has gone on for years. There always tends to be someone in the firing line and it looks at the moment as though that person is me.
You couldn't even apologise on the climate spat, which is indisputable fact, so I've no chance on anything else.
aerial - as you have no idea who it is either, then perhaps the easiest way is to stop trying to point the finger at me as you have done over the last two days!
You kicked this off with your post on Monday accusing me and followed it up, again, yesterday with another one - that Monday post you could share the content of with everyone on this board. I've given an overview of mine. Who else had posts removed on Monday?
I'll refer you back to one of my posts yesterday...clearly I have no idea either, but if it isn't you doing it then stop trying to undermine me by accusing me of doing it. We can all leave the playground then.
"Somebody is reporting posts on here and, as yesterday quite clearly demonstrated, it wasn't me.
So who is it?
And why is it you seem so keen to point the finger at it being me?"
LSE do indeed know the answer and I'm glad you have emailed them - my conscience is clear, so I have nothing to worry about. If they do come back to you with who it is, perhaps you can apologise to me.
Ah, I see. So you're now calling me a liar?
I logged on after 5.30pm yesterday after a very long day at work and responded to one of your earlier posts making accusations about reporting posts.
Can you tell me exactly how I could have reported anything during the day yesterday?
And why do you keep accusing me of reporting posts, despite it being impossible yesterday?
I thought you kept offline copies of all the posts - so you could easily share both of them on here, unless you have something to hide?
Amazing how those two posts have now gone and your post today was accusing me of reporting posts.
Explain? Perhaps share with the board your post from yesterday lunchtime that I responded to after I'd logged on?
Somebody is reporting posts on here and, as yesterday quite clearly demonstrated, it wasn't me.
So who is it?
And why is it you seem so keen to point the finger at it being me?
I noticed that this morning.
Interesting one of them was mine - I mentioned in the removed post I hadn't logged on until after 5.30pm yesterday so it couldn't be me. I also posted that it's almost as though someone is secretly reporting posts in the background so somebody can point fingers and how low that would be.
Didn't the Kibo board suffer from loads of posts getting removed aerial?
Tend to agree on the volume thing Pi.
If I recall correctly our previous breakeven was 4,500t so I would expect that figure to be lower for ILTL's setup. That's the whole point of us subbing it out.
It does suggest ILTL have reservations as to whether we can actually get to 3,000t per month output. The difficulty is whether we need that to be an average across the year or just the dry season. October to April has the potential to be very problematic for us as a mining company.
There are lots of positives around, but at the moment it's still all "potential". And we've been on the cusp before, many times.
The market speaks, hence our shareprice, and we have a litany of empty promises and targets over the last, almost, four years. But to be fair all it will take is a decent, tangible and positive RNS to get us on an uptrend. That's the key Alistair!
Sausage - a lot of the market is down today, but we all know that it's news we need.
Your recent price prediction is looking more likely unfortunately.
I like a nice face off with aerial occasionally. It's part of me finding inner peace. I don't normally post on Sundays but I found it very boring being in the pool to cool off.
Aerial - as you want to move on from climate...
One last question - how many rainy seasons do we have in the Rukwa region? Simple for someone who has extensive knowledge of our company.
Also you still haven't clarified the difference between an unsolicited and solicited proposal where a public body is involved. From my experience it's not hugely different between Africa and the UK in terms of process. Google won't really help, but the World Bank docs are good.
Aerial - you mocked me for pointing out that the Rukwa region has one dry season and one long rainy season. You said we had two rainy seasons. It is fact, not my view - indisputable fact. It happens the same every single year and has done well before any of us bought into this share. It is not "weather" - it is the climate of that region of Tanzania. You don't need Google to tell you that.
Your problem is because you dont like, trust etc me, you try and have a cheap shot at every possible opportunity to try and discredit me. You've done it with others on this board in the past. What was it on Friday? Anyone with half a brain or something? Look at the four posts you made after I posted fact about Rukwa's climate. You even had the arrogance to suggest Alistair had got one of his RNSs wrong!!
It is your arrogance and conceited behaviour, not just towards me, that is obvious. And it's there in your posting history.
I don't purport to know everything, but there are plenty of things I do know. But what winds me up more than anything is when people either make fun of others knowledge or clearly promote false information, potentially because all it is is a genuine mistake.
The climate spat on here is an absolute classic and even now you're still trying to play it down. Incredible.
