I know there is a fair amount of news expected and conference representation over the coming months. Are any of the more informed posters able to provide a rough timetable of what we might anticipate and when up to the calendar year end? I realise it’s not a forecast but a guesstimate of what events are likely would help me to understand the dizzying amount of plates being spun by scancell at the moment. Many thanks in anticipation.
Extraordinary week, lots of chunky selling. Surprised our resident trader Mr Diggle hasn’t been tempted by the volatility. Is he bearish or restricted by insider info, who knows? He hasn’t dealt for over a year now which is interesting. I suspect the business development hire is tricky because of the cash runway, lots of pressure to deliver. Will be interesting to see who they appoint, must be someone who believes. I thought the RNS was positive still early days and very small numbers in TNBC, perhaps not the magic to match inflated expectations. price action is down to substantial selling pressure, my guess from a single source. In fact, I’m slightly surprised the SP hasn’t capitulated further, maybe next week. Anyway it’s still a going concern for another year so a bit of time to pull the rabbit. 26% drop on 1% of the company traded, not sure there’s any need to be too despondent. In fact the positive is that our hedgies can’t sell their holdings so they will have to get creative for their returns. I’m very happy to have a ring side seat for what should be a fascinating and intriguing next few months AIMHO
If she was planning a partial sale to fund the balance which is standard practice I guess she would sell approx 1.2m shares at 10.8p to raise sufficient to take up the 2.6m remaining? I haven’t done the maths but that is quite usual way to find in the money options when you don’t have sufficient funds. Over 4m shares sold today so IMO way in excess of what she would need. Of course I am assuming she wants to take up her stock and keep what she’s got, which I think she would. All directors dealing has to be sanctioned by the company and reported to the market.
I don’t believe it’s LD. we have had a persistent seller over the last couple of months dripping 100k share sales out in an orderly fashion. IMO they might have been waiting to sell more into the strength of a good RNS, when that didn’t materialise they pressed the disorderly exit button and dumped large blocks onto the market. Plenty of LTH’s have large positions and may have died waiting for it to come right, DE was a big seller sometime ago, plenty of candidates other than LD. I think she would be unlikely to bail on her baby or be allowed to stiff her shareholders by her board. AIMHO
Interesting to look at the price action of Sigilon SGTX in New York this morning and the graph of the previous 6 months or 1 yr trading range. Small cap, limited broker coverage pharma stocks under the radar like this tend to move on news flow IMO. There must have been plenty going on behind the scenes and plenty of folk who sold at the wrong level. AIMHO
What are you expecting, the company is loss making doesn’t have any revenues so the share price is simply a warrant on future success. Also there’s been a persistent seller over last few weeks for whatever reason. The share price will be volatile, very thin volumes going through, looks as if it’s waiting for news…..
