Well, that may yet be a blessing - I see they're still falling!
it seems to have leveled at 158p, I got some today at 156.8
You're right about alternative energy stocks, it's a no brainer. Have a look at SIT and & JHL, both offer solar energy plays on AIM. Good luck!
Anybody know why JHL is falling when IC tipped them recently and pre-tax profit was up substantially for 2007?
Now we're motoring, SP up 8% so far today, about time!
Found it, thanks!
Not sure, there's some info on their website - http://www.jetion.com.cn/ They say "March 2007 saw the commencement of the second production line with two further lines planned for 2008 installation." They had revenues for YE 2006 of US$ 45.5 mil and they are profitable. Things should take off here.
where did you source the info amer? i'm not questioning your motives or anything but just curious as I can't find anything on it.
Thanks! For new comers, here's some background info on JHL - http://www.digitallook.com/news/sharecast/1418984-234013/JHL-Jetion_looks_to_shine_on_AIM.html
Given the dramatic slide in the SP, I'm inclined to agree with you Davius. I didn't think the announcement was that bad but there appears to be a lot of negative sentiment surrounding SOLA, you're right they need to counter that negativity with some specific targets; comments like "substantial increase in production" might apply in politics but they don't cut it on the financial markets. For what it's worth I've switched to JHL, similar company, newcomer to the market so sentiment seems to be more positive in general, I've still got a small holding in SOLA though, just in case!

steve7618 - have you checked out SIT, they've been making a recovery today but it may not be too late to get in there, they're a great story.
Please don't bring up BFC!
Good call, It's just free falling now, where's the bottom?
Good on ya mate, somebody else has taken the plunge, I was feeling quite lonely out there for a while but looks like it turned at 270p. The problem you get with such a sudden fall in SP is the automatic sells forcing the price down, once they clear you get a rebound and that's what we're on here I reckon. hold on, it's gonna be some ride!
Yes, but despite the problems sales still rose in the second quarter, it's not all doom and gloom; OK I may have jumped in a bit quickly, they have dropped a bit further but I'm not panicking.
Well, I'm in @ 285, luckily I didn't have much of a holding so there's was no point selling. News doesn't look catastrophic and they're selling at 50% to their SP in early July.
I think it is just negative sentiment in the market, look at SIT, they just announced a US$1.7m deal today and they still managed to loose ground, it's annoying when you don't have enough spare cash to jump in but I'm certainly not panicking.
Well, in fairness, they were over 350p back in April 06 so it's not like they haven't had some success already although I do accept your point regarding the market not correctly pricing the potential of SIT. But like I said, SIT isn't the only victim here, just look at TAN's graph for the last week. These are just volatile stocks and this is a turbulent market.
