And vice versa. My sell yesterday recorded as a buy.
Thanks, Mr B, yes I see that now. My humble apologies to Thebhoys for casting unfair aspersions. He must have a fan somewhere!
Whistler, thanks very much for the tip.
Looks like thebhoys is maybe recommending his own posts. This one went up to 2 recommends because I touched it in error
Setanta, you say that you can't sell more than 500,000 shares, but didn't you say yesterday that a £61,000 transaction was probably a sell?
Thebhoya,
"There appears to be a few green boxes, those filtered for their consistent drivel, and don’t know what they imply but have an idea it will be some form of repetitive nonsense. So no point going there"
Please try to write in plain English so that those of us who have not given you a green box can understand what you are trying to say.
V111JAS, just wondering, on what do you base your contention that "MMs are very very short of stock"?
Thank you, Mr B. I am not sure though how Bhoys has come to the conclusion it can only be one of two people. For the record, it wasn't me. He can believe that or not as he chooses!!
Apologies for my ignorance, but what does a green box signify?
The Bhoys, I find it difficult to understand how you can tell Malbrad that there is nothing personal intended in your comments, when, without a shred of evidence, you accused him of lying about his holding. I believe an apology from yourself is very much called for.
Another thought, Setanta. I very much doubt the legality of giving price sensitive information to a select band of share holders. I doubt even more that those shareholders would want the information, given that they would be deemed insiders and thus unable to trade legally in the share.
Here we go again! Setanta1, you have yet to explain how, if the share price is being held artificially low, MMs are able to conjure up the shares which would be needed to satisfy an excess of buyers over sellers. If the price is too low, how come the level of trades is in your words "abysmally low"? Why aren't there loads of buyers seeking out shares if the price is artificially low?
Obviously I meant forum, not bulletin board.
Thebhoys, there are opinions and opinions. Effectively calling someone a liar may be an opinion, but it is potentially libellous, and in my opinion best kept to yourself. This may be just a bulletin board, but I think most of us would like decent standards of communication to be maintained, and yes, not call into question the integrity of another member without adequate evidence
Thebhoys, "Ifs and buts" are very important in life, especially when it comes to investing in mining developments.
Stockpot, one slight correction. The SP is a barometer of what INVESTORS THINK is to come, factoring in of course any risk to their prognosis.
On 20th May 2019, TW advised on Hot Stocks Rocket selling Rose Petroleum at 1.4 pence. In his post, he noted Rose were
"delighted to welcome OCE as significant share holders in the company and I look forward to Colin Harrington joining the board as executive chairman"
TW opined "but they're not the point!"
I wonder how wrong you can get!
Sentanta, share price does not rise as a result of stunning news. Stunning news MAY result in more buys , in which case the price will rise. The exception to this of course is that MMs may think the buying inevitable, and raise the price before trading starts.
You still have not explained how you believe price can be managed, and still maintain an equilibrium between buys and sells.
Sloppyjoe, not sure what your saying, and whether what you are saying is meant to be serious or facetious, or a mixture of the two. Yes, as you say, sellers push the price down, but that is totally different from what you were previously seeming to say, that MMs reducing the price attracts sellers.

Nice to see someone talking sense about what moves the share price
