All the orders have come from grant work, at some stage they are going to need to actually sell based on performance as grant's for energy storage won't keep them in work.

Totally agree, they do however have to push a little quicker in order to get ahead of the market as no doubt Tesla will be pushing the battery storage once they get thier factory up and running. I know CCE/REDT system is better but it will come down to cost at the end of the day. The quicker they get into the market and get good feedback the less impact alternative storage systems will have.

Last interim results showed a loss of approx £800k, i am expecting either a smaller loss or breakeven for the next 6 months. They do have other projects in America and South Africa both making profits. They also recieve carbon credits in the US which are increasing year on year. Just had a quick look at AFC and look well overvalued, i can see a lot of new projects there but cash burn is quite high and continuous dilution. CCE/REDT are reducing costs and as the majority of R&D is now complete expecting forther reductions. The system they have for energy storage is not exclusive but with the help of Jabil believe the cost of the system will reduce to an extent where it will become very cost effective combined with wind and solar generation. Only a mtter of time before contracts start roilling in. Still waiting for another contract to come in as per last trading update. Have a read of it will give you a quick insight of whats happening.

Hi There are lots of alternative energy storage systems around i agree, the thing with these was the production partner Jabil being involved. They are no mugs and have sites worldwide. Camco arnt a one trick pony though with other irons in the fire. The Scotland Isle project is a test to see how well it works, the UK havent really done anything with regard to Energy storage so i suppose until it is fully operational we wont get any more projects at home. The recent award should hopefully generate some business in Ireland although even they gave a storage project to oversaes company recently. So If the Sales Director isnt any good hopefully they can get rid of and find someone who is. Lets hope they dont leave it too long. Finger on the pulse and all that. They need to pick the pace up as to laid back.
