Wow mate not seen anyone on these chat boards become a significant holder before lol.
I see you been with them from the start.
Good luck to you hope it comes good as you say you have stuck with them.
If they need more cash or loan notes issued I’m sure you’ll get your positive news from the company even if it isn’t positive if you know what I mean lol
Dougal
Done that years ago only to find out that the company tend to exaggerate the truth a touch.
You could always counter my negativity with some positive posts.
On 4 May 2018, the Company announced that it had raised £530,000 in cash from private investors through the issue of Convertible Loan Notes (CLNs)
As at 30 June 2018 the Group had a cash balance of £45,000
Difference of £485, 000 in just 2 months.
But it’s already below that?
My mistake, I wrongly assumed that as Murata were not going to produce Supercapacitors they would not need the patents, however they were talking of using them in lithium batteries previously.
Looks like insiders got a idea of the sale price. Another UK innovative company bites the dust. What a shame have a couple of their products as well excellent products but pricey.
That's a shame as Murata have been with Cap-xx for many years, I guess now they have Sony they want to concentrate on larger batteries.
Not sure this will work out for Cap-xx though as they will need to retain Murata's customers just to get the same revenue. Cap-xx won't have the buying clout Murata has, so margins may suffer. They have also suffered with quality of suppliers in the past.
On the bright side now they have the IP back from Murata may be an opportunity for the likes of AVX or even Maxwell to make a bid for them.
Honestly cant see them making a profit out of selling Supercapacitors though and they have always said they area R&D company not a large scale manufacturer.
Time will tell I guess.
GL guys
It says they have been in discussions with other parties, no mention of meetings or if those discussions have actually resulted in further progress.
They are going to Sweden to meet a marine company not renewable energy companies.
Sorry Max
Where does it state they have three meetings. Thought there was just the one arranged meeting.
Recommend you on that one lol
Not trying to save anyone, if you want to base your investments on what posters say on a BB then you should not invest.
What I would advise is do a little research on the company before throwing your hard earned cash into it.
Fareface
When have I ever said I get a kick out of people losing money. In fact it’s the complete opposite i don’t like people losing money.
What makes you think I like to see people lose money?
To be fair don’t think observer posted whilst the ramp fest was taking place
It’s not the placing it’s the loan note conversion price you should be worried about. If they made money selling the majority they won’t mind losing a bit if they have any left.
Y.A never hold onto shares they are loan sharks. It’s an expensive way for companies to raise cash.
That’s better at the end of the day it’s what companies do that dictates the SP. Not what we say on here.
Life is to short so enjoy it.
Does that mean if I post once in here in January you will pay me on a bet?
That was November 5th. Lots of debt in January.
Lots of weirdos on lse.
