Unless we get an approach for the company, which is possible and maybe even probable, people are going to have to deal with a lot of price targets. These are chart, trader targets and not linked to the fundamental value of the asset. If the SoD RNS drops then it’s a massive instant rerate with no possibility of a reversal to any low level of course. Until then it’s a long haul (for most). If we believe at some point we should be £1+ (on approval) and that it’s coming but not announced, then most will struggle to hold all the way to the finish line.

The more this afternoon’s attempt to derail the sentiment, the more it pretty much guarantees the future here 😎💥

Gobindaganj appears to be an intersection of the main north south highway N5,so basically you would heading east towards Teesta basin ?…on this new proposed route,from Dinajpur through Phulbari 👍

Just a bit more information on the proposed 4 lane highway Tarique Rahman speech at Dinajpur yesterday

Speaker was Dr Zahid Hossain national standing committee member and vice-chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party,road is proposed from Dinajpur to Gobindaganj going right through Phulbari speaker said "featuring our Phulbari"…….

Teesta isn’t a mega mega project for China. It’s not small but not Phulbari sized as a comparator.

They’ve asked for China’s assistance and they’ve responded but one has to ask oneself if during the discussions they’ve also brought into the narrative how well they’d fit.

There’s a bigger picture being narrated that we’re piecing together (maybe of a ‘northern powerhouse’ style) and with all this development with coal industries and hospitals and IT data centres etc, the power project would sit nicely in the centre.

4 trading days until the election result. All the other party manifestos fall short of the mark so the BNP will win, I’m convinced of that.

Teesta and the Barapukuria Extension have been discussed as a synergistic mega project. The real prize for China is the B-E and I’m pretty confident that agreement to deliver Teesta will come hand in hand with B-E approval. Let’s see what pans out in the coming weeks 👏

We’ll need a 4-lane highway to take all the overburden to the Teesta project 😄

BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has said that implementing the Teesta Mega Project will be his party's top priority if it comes to power.

He made the remarks while addressing an election rally organised by the Nilphamari district BNP at the Nilphamari Municipality ground on Saturday afternoon as the chief guest.

Tarique Rahman said initiatives would be taken to develop Nilphamari as an industrial zone, with factories set up to create employment opportunities.

Just watched the full 1hr dnijpur speech…..Tarique very confident on development of the area,very similar to the speech earlier this morning,introduced the candidates for the area including barrister maruzzman for phulbari so it’s a big push…

It was more interesting listening to representatives for the area pre Tarique speech…..councillors/bnp supporters and mention of a 4 lane highway to phulbari……and dinajpur was mentioned for having a coal mine that’s obviously Bara………?

Teesta was mentioned to benefit the area now and for the future

In short same hymn sheet as this morning……giving nothing away,it really was to be expected as some serious business decisions and dealings with china coming up
