Agree that there is no point in an update uf there is nothing to say. The frustration is being told a time scale that was totally unrealistic. If Roland had stuck to his original 3 to 6 months we would now be eagerly saying , not long now.

We are constantly told that India is kren to increase its supply of home produced gas, in order to reduce imports, and of course they are. However, this field is only ever going to make a very small contribution to their gas usage. It will be well under 1 % of their annual usage. So it is never going to be top of the pecking order.That said how can it possibly take very long at all ? We are talking about an agreement between Syn who have been running the field for many years and Selan who are a well established Indian company.

You'd think once all requirements were satisfied it would be a quick rubber stamp. The approval of Syn's acquisition of gspc's 55 % was even more ludicrous at 10%.
