People on here have been saying any day now since January. For gspc this is such a piddling amount of money, I can't for the life of me understand why they don't just pay what they owe. Presumably, that would then be the end of the matter? Why did they even let it get this far in the first place. Probably, the most likely result is that Oilex get what is owed to them and hopefully move on and start drilling. I think the current sp is at least partially factoring in getting the cash.
Always been partial to a nice pie. Who knows if it reached 0.6 and prospects looked good might let greed get the better of me. I have a much bigger holding in Lloyds which pays good dividends. At my age I should probably sell and just be in cash but interest rates are such crap.
I'd settle for getting my money back at 0.6. Not confident of that being this year (or ever). As always hoping for the best. Doubt too many will be holding in a few years. Gla.
Sorry Yuri, didn't realise there was a rule that you couldn't debate if. Lol. I think we are all old enough to know that nothing in life is certain, apart from death and taxes.
That's something we can agree on. To me the lottery is a just a throwaway of a few quid every now and then in the very slim chance of getting rich quick. Come to think of it, very like Oilex. Lol.
So Chesh, judging by your comments on here, every time you do the lottery, you think you are going to hit the jackpot! A bit like people who get married multiple times, a triumph of hope over experience. Lol.
Chesh, I don't know if you frequent betting shops, but if you do, I imagine you are the bloke who, against all logic and past experience, says about every bet he has, "This is a certainty!". Lol.
none of us know the finer legal technicalities of this dispute. On the face of it, you'd think that gspc with all their other problems would just want to settle this by paying what they owe, which to them is a piddling sum. If they wanted to, they could then sell off their share of Cambay for a much greater amount. I can't see why they would give more of Cambay to Oilex in lieu of the debt if it meant losing their controlling interest.
Maybe, the legal fine print says otherwise but the truth is we are all guessing, including those who say this is a guaranteed winner. Gla.

"the company presently anticipates that the discussions will conclude in early 2019".
Something tells me we might need to take anything they say now with a bit more than a pinch of salt.
