ICB I cannot see any rise anytime soon. I do not believe we will be anywhere near 18p on spud and my bet is on with BDC with whiich I would be delighted to lose. There isn't any appetite for risk anymore if there was we would not have had the volume of sells and we would not be in the 10's. The market has spoken and all we will see for the forseebale is fun and games.

Whatever the analysts say to justify their postions we are in freefall without a catalyst in site to even get to get back to 14 at which price I would have been happy to consolidate at.

So next year we go back into risk territory with our drill and at what price?

Good post BDC but tech stocks and being 13 year ago was a whole different ball game as it was for Chariot too before our 2 drills during that period? You know, that metoric rise from low teens all the way up to the £3's

Some great postings here last few days from the posters at the top of the food chain since the news but sentiment is everything if you want to make decent money and sadly we don't have it.

Still it should prove to be a solid investment long term but just not with the sizzle?

Depends what chariot consider significant and after todays carnage I would have to agree with you at those prices.

ICB have we really been bidded for? If we have then as I suggested earlier we will have another bid or two coming. Doesn’t normally end at one.

Strange also that it would have been mentioned in a webcast. Would that not be news worthy if it was an official bid?

Nick the majors may have cast their eye over this but i don’t believe they even came to the table.

IMO a with a major partner we would have seen a minimum 30% spike today before any sell off.

Bubble, I no longer find it odd, I see it as standard the irrational behaviour of the markets on any “good news”. It happens with the blue chips too.

I was expecting a modest gain at worst not a 15% decline for what is supposedly the most important news in our history. To rely now on the success of a new drill to lift this back up is just a bit fkd up.
