thought there would be more interest in this share today, obviously not

My Barclays account is not showing a change to my shares and i cant trade them, anybody else got same problem? Lets hope this is not the reason why there have been not too many sells.

Can anyone explain the significance of the canceled deffered shares?

Shares have been consolidated every 100shares you own have been reduced to 1 share and the price is adjusted to reflect this.

MMs have held this range up to 1.48 until consoladation. you have to remember that there are now 65billion shares in issue so buys in the millions are not as huge as they seem. However it will be interesting to see you sp will react to sustained buying at the new consolidated SP - hopefully we will seem slow increase. I am a massive believer in this company it has:- no debt big institutional investers fantastic assets general property upturn and 2012 olympics to look forward to. even if it dips slightly i am very comfortable with this investment and see it being a multi bagger in the future.

Yes, so they have basically averaged down and then sold off. I am hoping that all those desperate to get out after holding at much higher levels have done so or will asap.

Could somebody please clarify the situation here. My understanding is that the 65 billion shares have been issued and shareholders are able to sell these today - hence 2 billion odd sold at a nice profit from 1p. Is this correct? hopefully all those wanting to sell would have done so at earliest opportunity and the remaining shares are being kept for the future upside of a strong company going forwards. Would appreciate any views. Cheers

You would hope so, but MMs are holding them, look at yesterdays buys and the effect on sp.

maybe MMs cant handle the volume, sure lots of delayed trades will come through

Ideally we need MMs to let this rise a little on the buying pressure so that if there is a slight drop on consolition people like me with 1.45 average are still even. As i speak level 2 showing increase 1.50-1.51

Thanks. I am in longterm so short term blips dont really bother me. Not that familar with Mec situation, but with qatar investments and other big players on board, debt controlled, prime property i am happy with my investment. Not all RI are negative look at XTA (i know company is not comparable but just as a example).

Why are you suprised that it is holding that range when 100's of millions of shares are being purchased? I am hoping that all these buys are long term investments, why do you think it is going to drop even short term?

Agree, but who cares as long as it keeps moving up, went into this as a long term investment, ie olympics and property recovery in mind. Dont think they will totally be debt free, but holding that prime property with controlled debt is great.

No basically they reduce your holding, for every 100 shares you own is converted to 1 share but the price is increased to account for this reduction - i think. Patience is key in investing, investors always make more money over the long term than traders.

Yes, but long term future of company is going to be very strong, reduced debt and super rich investors on board, might not go up as quick as some expect but is only heading in one direction i believe. Huge buys shows big players agree and they dont often get it wrong.

Even if the MMs continue to hold until consolidation of shares, the future of company looks great, looks like loads of big investers are getting as many shares as cheap as possible, cant see that much downside really.

Again sustained huge buying, when are mm's going to let this go?
