What is the future for Futura's share price. I have detailed below, from info in the results and more particularly from the webcast presentations what news Futura expects to announce during 2018, of which there is quite a lot that will affect the share price. MED2000-Securing of major commercial deal. CSD500-Reasignment of Rights for most of Europe and USA CSD500-Launch in 6 more countries and possibly up to 13. TPR100 & TIB200 -securing of further deals in USA/Europe. So what about the share price. Clearly there is massive potential if all the products end up all on sale at once but leading up to that point I think that announcements of each of the above this year will increase the share price as each one will confirm that progress is being made, some more than others. Clearly with any deal being announced one can expect upfront deal fees which can be substantial and this is what Futura expect as they stated at the results seminar they have no need to raise further cash. Looking at other company deals in these sectors the total upfront fees could easily be in the �25-40 million range. So what could Futura be worth in a couple of years time. From global sales figures provided by Futura we have the following potential for Futura's market share and earnings. MED 2000 ($1 billion per annum)= �800 million say @5% royalty is �40 million pa TPR100 & TIB200 (1/2 billion per annum)=�400 million say @5% royalty is �20 million pa CSD500 @10% market share of a $6billion pa market is $600 million=�450 million @ 5% royalty rate is �9 million per annum. That totals to �69 million per annum. That's the potential. So with an income of that size with minimal overheads the company on a p/e of 10 % would be valued at �690 million or �5.56 per share Current company value @ 47p today is appx 57million So the potential is 10 times the current share price. With lots of news this year we could easily see the share price double up with the newsflow and a big bucks rise coming after the current MED 2000 trial results due shortly. News may come at any time so it's a buy at this price now in my view with results due out on 14th March. If any of one of these major deals comes of the share price would double..

Considering further the possibilty of Pzifer bidding for MED2000 this does really make a lot of sense for Pzifer. Their Viagra is coming to the end of its exclusivity and generic versions are becoming available so their income stream for the product will drop of massively and having a replacement product would fill this gap. They have a salesforce allready set up for this type of product, and the customers for it as well. With potential sales in the �billions and only one final trial after the current one to come, MED 2000 could be on sale next year. The criteria for the current trial and the final trial has obviously been set up after discussions with Futura and at least one possible licencee so that the trials, once sucessfully completed, would allow MED2000 to be approved and on sale asap. The current trial which is running is to test higher strength versions of MED2000, will complete in march, this will give interested parties a clear picture of the full range of doses that can be made availabe and obviously the full � market potential. I am expecting a bid for the licence at this time with an upfront payment, payment for final trial , then on trial success-further payment and royalties. The MD has already stated that he is expecting to announce news in march-not long to go. If all goes well over the next few weeks FUTURA will be worth a lot lot more than todays price.

Biome Tech the developer of degradeable coffee cups and food packaging is moving up strongly as it ramps up sales, Will be moving into profit this year and one big order for this tiddler ( only worth �8 mill +) could see share price jump a few times if any deal comes. It is the right market of developing alternatives to todays plastic packaging and non recyclable coffee cups also has products for the new 4-5 g telephone systems. Have a look, you could well make you a mint if they succeed.

A bit of speculation---- I have been re-reading Futura's 4th Jan RNS which contained a link to an article in the Journal of sexual medicine. -Efficacy and Safety of MED2005, a Topical Glyceryl Trinitrate Formulation, in the Treatment of Erectile Dysfunction: I have noticed that one of the authors is a consultant to Pzifer AND Futura- which is noted as follows :- "Conflicts of Interest: Ian Eardley is a consultant to Futura Medical and Pfizer. " It is possible that Pzifer could be using him ( with Futura's approval) to review Med 2000's current trial and if all is satisfactory will be making an offer. Otherwise it seems a bit odd that he is working for both companies-Pzifer having both Viagra and Med 2000 would make a lot of sense giving them a very big market indeed. comments anyone ?

Biome technology is slowly gathering investors attention. Why ? because it specialises in Biodegradeable Coffee Cups and packaging material, the sort of stuff the whole world is now looking at to replace plastic packaging and unrecycable coffee cups. Since my comment early Jan when the price was 520p price has moved up nicely and is now 30p ahead at 550p, would be nice if continues at this rate. Lets see.

Liberum have come out with new target after results --of 1350p. This is a very solid company just grinding out the profits whch increase each year. Currently undervalued, shares have a way to rise to reach value a good steady riser.

Vox Markets recommends a buy today.

LPA results get better and better-profits up 26% share price yet to reflect the prospects here.

Could be either one of the pending CSD launches about to be announced or possibly a deal with the CSD rights in the USA and Europe which were given up by Church &Dwight. If so share price would jump.

Results out soon ( around 21 January should show higher profits and significant momentum forward as they increase turnover. This small cap is very well run and in a niche market and on results I expect it to reach new highs of 180p +. Could also be a bid target as Ceo and main shareholders past retirement age.

March-what share price then ? Certainly more than todays price. MED 2000 has already been tested to show that it is effective and is a winner. and Futura has already advised that they expect to announce a deal on MED2000 in late March. At the moment they are doing tests with MED2000 to decide what the maximum strength of formualtion they can make. Then they can have different strength formulations for different needs ie.normal,medium and high strength. Thus if they can provide these 3 strengths they can cover the whole possible market which would be even bigger than current expectations. My opinion is that this current test is to show that a higher strength formulation is safe and effective and that would off course mean that a much larger market is available for it. Aa bigger market means bigger sales and bigger profits so anyone wanting to buy the rights to it would have to pay more. The date of completion of the trial is clearly tied up to the expected deal announcement date in march which would indicate that the price that any deal will be at is subject to trial results. Any deal will be a cash sum for the rights plus a % royalty on sales. Looking at other pharmaceutical deals of similar product value one could expect a lump sum of say �50- 100 milllion at least for the rights, but if their is a lot of competition could well be a lot more.

I noticed that one of the authors who compiled latest report on Med2000 is also a consultant to Pzifer. Could be deal is being tied up with them which would make a lot of sense. Can't wait until end March when deal details should be announced. I cant understand those taking a profit at the moment as Fum could be over double todays price at least by then.

As I posted last week-views anyone What could Futura be worth ---thats the question. At todays share price with 120 million shares in issue it's 120,000,000 X 37.5 p which is �45 million. Using Futura's figures of potential annual sales for MED 2002 of $1 Billion and a minimum of a 5 % royalty rate income would be $50 million ,that's �37 million PER ANNUM. The majority of that would be profit as Futura has minimal overheads. So with minimal overheads a profit of pretty much �37million per annum and using a P/E of 10 gives a market value of �370 million.That's a share price of �3.08 per share or over 8 times todays share price. This calculation is based only on the potential of MED2002.Futura also have other products which have potential, their CSD 500 condoms plus there pain refief portfolio where deals could be announced at any time. They have already stated that they expect a deal to be signed at end March for MED 2002 prior to final trials with larger dosages that's why share price is moving up but it is not anywhere near what the share price will be when it is announced. As always its a gamble but it seems to me that first trials have already proven that the product works and my own view is that the market forit is much larger than $1 billion. If it gets Over The Counter approval I am sure that a huge amount of people with no particular problems, will buy it a sexual pleasure item and the market could well be a Multi billion seller. By next year if all goes well could even be higher than my �3.08 p share price calculation,I hope so. To my mind Futura is the best punt on the market today I would aprecciate hearing others views on value.
