You would think if the guardian article was material the market would have found out first and battered the share price . Thg share price chart tracking very closely the ftse250 chart . My opinion
Ste - MM obviously didn’t want to roll with a fund that wasn’t going to let him run the show . The golden share makes him able to veto anything . This will get interesting once the golden share lapses as activist funds can initiate change be that a break up or push for a take private . The question now is will MM let himself get vulnerable to be ousted or take it private himself before the golden share lapses . My opinion
To be honest I’ll take anyone’s money if it’s 80 p . My opinion
Bond markets now pricing in more chance of a 50bps hike in feb also . My opinion
Seingred - I still think you are high at 240 million I think circa 200 million is more realistic after the new / old rights and warrants etc . I think circa 150 million is plausible for all the assets so that would give around 70 p a share . My opinion

Seingred - can I ask where you get those numbers from the last voting rights rns there were 159 million shares in issue . My opinion
Weak - predictive text
The major data point to look out for is the jobs report tomorrow if it’s week then stocks should do well as that would add weight to only two more hikes . If it’s strong then us stocks will sell off again . My opinion
Seingred - can I ask where you get 30 dollars an ounce . Personally I think JM and MC will want minimum analyst estimates for the assets and would have gone through it with Hannam with a target price of 80p . I could be wrong but even with the warrants JM average must be a lot higher than todays price and is probably circa 40p . I would be amazed if he would not want a significant return in his investment for all the years of pumping money in . The share price really is irrelevant as not many shares get traded hence why the drops and rises on small volume . I think once bids start coming in you will get more speculators buying and that will move the share price anyway giving JM and MC a stronger hand anyhow . My opinion
I must add this now becomes simple now we have a bankable feasibility study . All my opinion
I agree with the last two posts . The share price has minimal meaning when valuing the assets . The assets will be independently valued by advisors for both the buyer and seller taking into account Price to Net Asset Value (P/NAV),Price to Cash Flow (P/CF),Total Acquisition Cost (TAC),EV/Resource ($/ounce) etc then they will come to an agreed price . My opinion
From what I can see Jim Mellon has underwritten the equity raise and the 17percent is the fee for doing it . Why should he not charge a fee any investment bank would for doing the same thing. My opinion
Noel - I think technical analysis is out of the window . The assets are up for sale and the company is now well financed . Even for the doom brigade the assets are worth many multiples of the current share price . Do you not agree ? . My opinion
Just a thought surely if you sell now you don’t get a chance in the open offer as it’s to existing investors and the shares that don’t get taken up will go to existing holders who want more also . My opinion
I am going to take part and also ask for more shares through my derivative position I have . I think you are all being harsh on JM . The company has offered the same terms as him yes ok not the warrants but without JM there is no company as he has put in many millions to get to this point . Like slowly slowly says JM is not putting more in at 15p to get 17-18 p to be honest I think he wants a massive profit and by showing potential buyers we are well funded stops stupid low ball bids . This is the end game now and sit tight I’m sure we will get 60 p plus for all the gold in the ground plus the assets . My opinion
Personally I think you are all overreacting. We are being offered the same terms as the major shareholder unlike previous raises. This makes the company fully funded to go down the asset sales route to extract the most value . If Jim mellon wanted to buy the company on the cheap he would hardly double down with another million and just let it go bust and get all the assets In Admin . My opinion
Seingred - I didn’t see it last year , let’s have a bit of fun , I have done a back of the *** packet calculation on what the assets maybe worth and I can get to 80p circa 150million for the gold in the ground de risked and a bankable feasibility study showing that a mine can be built for a relatively cheap price . Plus the land , sag mill etc . I do think MC and JM would build this out if they didn’t think they could get a decent return as the finance wouldn’t be too hard to raise . Especially through people like red kite capital etc . I just think JM sees a quick return over waiting a further two years . I know JM talked about being up and running doing 100,000 ounces now but I think timescales are all over the place since covid . Taking planning permissions they used to take 8 weeks they now take 4-6 months . My opinion
Hi all
JM is talking at a moneyweek event this afternoon I wonder if he mentions condor . My opinion
Hi all
I know the share price has taken a bashing with panic sells but i do think JM knows what he’s doing . I could be wrong but I would rather go along for the ride with someone as shrewd as JM than any of us numptys . Ian Hannam has the nickname king of mining in the city so if anyone can drum up an auction he can and I think this will be sold for a few multiples on todays price . My opinion
