Donny using his fables to defend our beloved BoD:
“Someone told me a story once...
I still remember the promise I made to my girlfriend. I told her that if I got a bonus at work, I'd buy her a £19 million diamond ring. She was thrilled, and for a while, the thought of that ring brought us closer together.
But the bonus never came, and with it, the promise of that extravagant ring faded away. I did my best to make it up to her, suggesting we look into other, more affordable options. I thought I'd handled the situation well, but little did I know, it was only the beginning of a much bigger issue.
As the days went by, she started asking me questions that felt like an interrogation. "What are you doing?" "Who are you with?" "Where are you going?" It didn't matter that I reassured her about my feelings or explained the situation; she just wouldn't let it go.
The constant questioning started to suffocate me. I felt like our relationship was becoming more about the promise of that ring than about us.
It became hugely distracting in me finding a way to make amends.”
