Unfortunately a very common problem, complained about across all the boards. A trade is shown as a buy or sell dependant on where it sits between the shown BID and ASK prices, i.e. above or below the shown Share Price. The latter rarely represent the actual price you can sell and buy at, hence the anomalies. You would have imagined the system to be sophisticated enough to know a buy is a buy though!

Is todays rise due to this? I've not seen any feedback.

Visited the new HQ today. Apparently they think the business is marvellous........ Held just two days before the country goes to the polls, and televised live on Sky News, Mr Cameron paid tribute to Utility Warehouse, which he hailed as a great British success story. He said: “Five years ago you employed four hundred people, today you employ eight hundred people. That’s massive progress, it’s an investment in our country, in the creation of jobs, and I want to thank you for what you’ve done”. Boris Johnson also heaped praise on Utility Warehouse for being at the "cutting edge" of British industry.

I have seriously averaged down on a number of my other underperforming shares in the hopes of a better return but ignored this one. Dohhh! GLA

The company is pleased to announce that losses for 2014 are 2.5 times higher than losses for 2013. Hmmm.

I take your point! Given the consistency of this company's performance over the years (and the s.p. over the last 7 years that I have been involved) this last drop was completely unexpected and I think undeserved. I have to agree with your valuation of £13-£15 but I am not sure how quickly it might recover to that. (soon I hope!!)

Not that it seems to help the s.p. very much. Disappointing day!

Hi Beefy - don't think you can call the sp volatile and it does not 'bounce' between 8 and 20 pounds. It had a very steady climb over several years from a couple of quid up to about 15 pounds, based on the companies very consistant growth. The jump from 15 to 20 pounds was down to an amazing deal the company secured for the supply of energy over a 20 year period. The subsequent drop from near 20 pounds, according to management, was because the FTSE250 lost favour with 'the city' and funds generally were moved to FTSE100 companies. This last debacle is a total over-reaction to the last RNS. The company's results are still outstanding, just not quite as outstanding as had been expected! They are soon to be operating from their new, North London 'landmark building' HQ which has far greater capacity to accommodate the continued growth of the business. This WILL become a FTSE100 company in the not too distant future, the city money will be back and the sp will fly once more. Trust the management, they really do know what they are doing. Follow their lead and top up or invest at these low prices.

A few comments guys. Firstly, for anyone willing to put in consistant effort the rewards are enormous. Consider this. Every gold customer you sign up will provide you an annual income roughly equivalent to the pension you would get from £1000 worth of annuity at today's rates. For every two hours spent in your current job are you able to top up your pension fund with £1000? No, thought not. Next. The cash back card is an absolute no - brainer. You can literally slash you bills by 20 or 30% without even trying very hard (and for someone moving into a new house the sky is the limit!) Free calls. Calls are still free to all other club customers. THEY ARE STILL FREE 24/7 to all UK landlines for a small monthly fee. (Less than other providers) This was introduced as part of the drive for transparency and simpler comparisons with other providers. Share price - totally oversold. I believe all distributors have had a letter from the chairman. I tried to cut and paste but without success. The essence of it is that the forthcoming results are outstanding, just not quite as good as forecast, and for this the market has hammered them. The directors have taken the opportunity to buy over £1m worth of shares show their confidence in the future of the company. Speaks volumes to me.

And over 20 grand of sells...............

Less than 20 grands worth (roughly) is not exactly 'flooding in', but I admire your optimism.
