Very good point. But they can still raise after e.g. "5p" AFAIK? So in theory raising now is playing it safe in terms of finances. I think QBT may have handled short term risk by raising early. Or, they think the method is useless altogether and trying to milk the momentum in price. Who knows.

Interesting how examiner agreed with performance/efficiency gains though on that report phimx sent. If they have found a way to bundle it in a hardware and get the patent, that's gold.

My understanding is that he means "sometimes", like %30 of the time they can accurately predict that it will not be below, then no calcs are needed. He also mentioned the mining pool accepted their POW share (see FT article), so either the method works or found it a loophole to fool the miner pools. I believe either way it is impressive, unless it is a blatant lie, which can be revealed sooner.

By the way, I don't think LLMs would be able to figure out a breakthrough innovation yet.

I know there are high risk/reward investments out there, but isn't this an easy low risk mid term investment, considering the share price is below NAV and it is winding down? Then there is dividends. I keep buying but I must be missing something.
