I understand that Haggis, but still just trying to get my head around the whole thing.
I continuously see 50,000 sold, 50,000 bought very close to each other; then 150,000 sold and x3 50,000 bought etc... etc...
Just seems like too much of a coincidence to me sometimes. Just trying to understand......
I have monitored the 'buys' and 'sells' for some time and come to the conclusion that the share price is being severely manipulated by shareholders in cahoots; with the aim to control/bring the price down. Whether this is Bronte or other forces, I can see it is definitely happening.
Large sells at below bid price, followed by similar volume buys at again, significantly lower than the ask price. Perhaps buying and selling to 'each other'.
Thoughts?
With the significant behind the scenes discussions, live trials, acknowledged partners, potentially huge RNS/updates, market leading products, COP27 and the whole world focussed on renewable energy - AFC Energy are easily on track to exceed 40p-50p+ by the new year. Woop Woop!! Loving it!!
Ignore Bronte's paid de-rampers. Ignore the idiots. Don't bother replying to them. If you stop feeding them, they will wither and die.
Apologies if I am being daft, but I would appreciate it if someone could help me with a few honest questions re: how trades are reported/share prices please - as I am slightly confused.
1. Yesterday (@10.57am I bought 17,532 more shares @ 18.33 each - over £3.2k) - however when I looked at the reported trades, it was marked down as a SELL? Why is this? Correct, error or manipulation?
2. I was monitoring the share price (on my IG app) this morning for 45 minutes or so and twice noticed something very strange (at least to me - but maybe it is normal). The Bid price dropped twice from approx. 19.1p to 18.5p in one hit after making steady gains prior (and again after). I expected to see a few significant SELLS in the reported trades for around the time this happened, but on each occasion - NO SALES were reported at all within a 15 minute+ window? The first time was approx. 09:25am today.
Is this a problem with my app, manipulation by the MM's or something else? I'm just confused......
It's a bear market. People have money but they lack confidence. With the inflation/cost of living/energy rises (with winter approaching) and by the sounds of it, upcoming tax increases - coupled with increasing interest rates - shares look too risky for many at the moment is my guess.
The Power Tower action hasn't really changed a great deal - except that we now know that proper trials are underway with potentially huge clients. However, if the results end up being as positive as we hope, proper RNS's in 6 weeks+ will get the share price flying no matter what is happening in the wider financial world.....
Garonne, are you serious :) Just too funny!!!
The biggest U-turn in UK politics for decades (maybe ever) has just happened, the markets are in turmoil and no-one knows what is going to happen in the next two weeks and you blame AFC for a couple of days of stagnant share prices :)
No wonder most people filter you out.
Industry/world share up's and down's have to be ignored when it comes to specific discussion about AFC. The current drop is not driven by them - we all know that - so why pretend it is? In fact, I'd argue that their share price is holding it's own better than most given the current situation.
I will continue to increase my holding at these prices, as I have a longer term view on this share - so I'm not complaining.
I'd be expecting Keltbray to give some indication of how the 6 week trial has gone. Depending on how positive the results are, potentially some news from AFC Energy too.
If the results go AFC Energy's way, then we should all expect significant news/orders in the next 3-6 months. I'd hope so anyway.
Ha ha ha - got to laugh at the idiots/Bronte de-rampers on here......
I have confidence that anyone interested in investing in AFC Energy has enough about them to understand that the worldwide financial markets are struggling badly - and the current SP performance has little to do with the Company itself, or the BOD/Bond.
In fact, the multi-pilot news that we all know about is very, very positive and exciting - and once the results are released in 6 weeks or so, we will hopefully see a RNS or two that will change this business positively forever.
Not long to wait now ladies and gentlemen.
Bronte will soon exit it's position and maybe this board will then become semi-pertinent again.
Stay strong and GLA
I'm not sure AFC would have been aware that the LI post was going to be posted - and it didn't appear until the end of the day either - giving no time to prepare a statement for today. I expect that there will be an RNS tomorrow.
Will AFC wait until the MACE news breaks next week too before releasing an RNS about both?
These are going to be a busy few months for AFC - I hope the sales team are ready to process the interest this news will no-doubt generate.....
Ade, you are obviously a disgruntled ex-employee, work underhand for someone like Bronte or something very similar...
Why else would all of your statements be so anti-AFC without any justification? It's so blatant, that no-one would fall for it.....
Swingman. The 'kit' cost is obviously important, but factor in ongoing fuel cost/availability (as highlighted worldwide recently),it no-doubt tightens it up.
But, the main kicker is the environmental impact. All Govts are under growing pressure to reduce emission's; and therefore all Businesses are too. Being 'green' is a huge selling point for all contracts now, but especially Govt contracts. It will probably be more expensive for early adopters - but the additional business they gain by getting in there first will easily make it worth it.
All whilst helping save our planet.
I will clearly tell you MY point.
Your unjustified, unintelligent comments should be ignored by all. Add JamesSimon to the same list. It's actually embarrassing. No serious investor would ever make the silly comments you do (10p :) :) :) :) ); nor would they pay any attention either.
No-one can possibly put a bad spin on this exciting news. The success of this proof-of-concept trial is game-changing - no matter which way you look at it. The first of many I suspect.
I believe that AFC Energy are now on the cusp of multiple large orders over the next 3-12 months; and as soon as the current market madness settles down, their share price will fully reflect this.
