The biggest share price upside is seen at AFC Energy, which during 2022 deployed its fuel cell systems at the construction sites of several high-profile contractors. The systems provide emissions-free power for applications such as cranes or for charging diggers and excavators.
Peel Hunt said: “We are positive about AFC Energy’s prospects in 2023. It is becoming increasingly evident that the company’s products are likely to be in strong demand.” The bank’s “buy” recommendation and 195p target compares with a current price of 20p.
Got to laugh at the below comment made on the AFC post for AB's video. For clarity and to bring his views into context, Kev Reilly's LinkedIn profile shows him as Founder of Aircamservices - a business that was dissolved 3 years ago according to Companies House :) :) :) :)

The video gives no indication of the scale of the site, the capacity of the diesel generators being replaced and comparable costs. A very sketchy attempt at promoting AFC. How is this going to impress potential clients?
Have to laugh today. No mention of the huge AFC rise so far in comparison to the ITM (news affected) and Ceres's (no news) large drops....... we never hear the last of it when there is even a tiny AFC drop compared to the others.......
Looking forward to big news soon!!
These people calling for AB's head are deluded. Everyone with half a brain knows that the indications and expectations shared in updates such as YE Reports are just that; expectations - based on what is known at that point.
Are you all forgetting that the world has gone to £$%£ in the last 36 months or so with COVID, China and Ukraine etc... etc... - delays with sourcing materials, deliveries, businesses we will sell to taking a step back and consolidating until the future is clearer etc.. etc...
None of you know the true facts about what is happening inside AFC Energy and yet act as though you have some say in what goes on lol lol lol lol. If he was truly doing such a bad job, the business and BOD would do something about it - just like in any business.
Stop whining. You'll give yourself a bloody heart attack......
I convinced that Kier definitely received a unit - and it was on a lease agreement as far as I remember. The chap from Kier specially mentions taking multiple additional power tower units too.
Just when I thought I'd seen it all......I was just reading some of the twitter replies on these posts and I have to say, I am amazed at how stupid some so called investors can be. Calling out crap about not receiving any orders yet etc... on posts that AFC clients will no doubt read, acting like spoilt, entitled brats is embarrassing. What good do any of these people think their messaging will do. Only potentially significant harm is all I can say.....
Protium are a solutions provider, who source and pull together solutions from different companies to meet clients requirements. They will use solutions from businesses such as AFC Energy rather than instead.....
Ade - you really are an agenda fuelled muppet.
Choosing to ignore the fact that the majority of the world is under strict deadlines to massively reduce/stop using fossil fuels all together across most industries (E.G. diesel generators/shipping etc..etc...etc..etc..) just shows how ridiculous you are - and should be ignored at all costs.
I'd have a £10k bet with you that the share price is closer to £1.20 than your estimate this time next year - except that would mean you showing your face - which you won't do.
GLA - good news coming soon.
I've been monitoring trades today and cannot get my head around it.
Multiple trades, marked as 'sells' all day, but at the 'ask' price or higher. Minimal 'actual' sells at anything close to the 'ask' price. I just don't understand it.
Lots and lots of decent buys, including the final UT purchase.
I surmise that something is brewing.......
I fully expect the next update to be very positive, and although I'm hungry for news, I'm in no rush. We will be updated when appropriate. Too many keyboard warriors on here thinking that because they own a share or two, it entitles them to C-suite privileges. Bloody hilarious.
Perhaps these self-proclaimed experts should go and start their own hi-tech company - see where it gets them :)
Still buying regularly. Long and strong. GLA.
I haven't looked at this board for a few days; and after just catching up with the drivel posted on here - perhaps hoping for a snippet or two of actual useful information, I wish I hadn't bothered!
It's actually embarrassing that supposedly grown men and women are talking to each other like this about a Business they have no control over.
What is the point?
Just let it go for Christs sake. Surely your lives could be more productive.
Sensible discussion/disagreement I get - but this has turned into a total cesspool of you know what.
Anyway, Merry Christmas to you all. I hope you have a more productive, and happy, 2023!!
Gitfinger - are you seriously comparing 125 year old motor technology that has been proven and used for over 100 years with AFC offering ground-breaking products in an emerging and unproven market?
If you think comparing BMW bringing out a new model to AFC proving a new concept to early-adopters is even in the same universe, never-mind on the same planet - then you need to seek urgent medical assistance.
Dear lord.......
The press release is a little confusing and fuzzy - and can be taken in a number of ways. I am with Haggis though in that I think they are talking about hydrogen production rather than actual fuel cells (as we know Extreme E want to be fully clean energy self-sufficient):
'KCE will be manufacturing, integrating, and deploying their hydrogen PRODUCTION systems from their facility in Texas for use in microgrid power, hydrogen fuelling, and industrial hydrogen supply starting in the first quarter of 2023.'
