Is this stopping the war or business as usual, to me it says do not attack a NATO country.

All trump has said to putin is not to escalate the war, but no mention of stopping it. Russia will do whats best for them and there is nothing anyone including trump can do about it, they have BRICS with them, the US will do what is best for them.

Sounds like business as usual to me, i.e dont use nukes but carry on, how is this bringing the war to a end.

SJ - I am no fan of trump, I just think he was far better than Harris. Had the democrats put up a better candidate I would have backed him/her.

Ultimately the issue is EUA and cash flow, trump can’t fix, although a trump win I thought would create some sort of pump, which is what we may be seeing but it will be far less than people had hoped and the reason is that ugly word call placing casting a shadow.

How will the war actually end?

If US stops funding Ukraine then Russia will annex Ukraine and not just take a part of it and only the Europeans can stop that happening, otherwise War continues.

The yanks are over playing their importance, it’s not what the US does that matters, it’s what the other European NATO countries do collectively that will be decisive.

The US have a history of creating a mess and walking away, look at Iraq, it will be the Europeans left to pick up the mess.

Musk and trump are salesmen, they will make plenty of sound bites and say things without substance and musk will realise stopping a nuclear power which is backed by BRICS is not running Tesla or X etc

Musks sound bites won’t end the war, regardless of what trump or any one says this war will still be running even if the US stop funding, the Europeans will step up to protect them selves because if Ukraine falls then so will Europe unless Europe stands strong.

The yanks are not affected by the outcome of the war, the Europeans are and have more at stake.
