Another fizzler of a trading session with early gains almost cleared. . Happens every session of late

Yep I clocked that last week. This keeps giving up any weekly gains in ONE day which is concerning that it cant hold. I sold out of 4 stocks to free up cash for house and held 4 remaining companies. A typically the 4 I sold all climbed an avg. of 18% in a month and the held stock dipped the reverse. Thems the breaks from my side lately. SMDR i still have good notions about but its been hated on all year even with good organic growth figures, the exploration side is not kicking any goals which is seemingly the biggest handbrake

Let's see if some positive news feeds through in Nov to add to impetuous to our recovery here as it's starting to lag

It hit the headlines when the USA fully backed Thorium as part of their next 50yr energy plan however due to major gas discoveries through fracking the Thorium talk has been put in the shadows for now. Basically it costs even less to produce, provides more energy per lb and has comparatively little bio-waste once energy has been dispersed making it very easy to dispose of. Plus plus plus potential. I did look at Thorium producers but with little capital being spent alone on uranium due to subdued spot prices I'll implement my thorium speculative investing after we see lending, M & A activity return to this sector first. URA look ripe and have good potential to land somewhere between 10p -30p with the correct strategic partner. Massive roll fronts and open pit development make URA very attractive in a relatively stable African country. Just waiting for news. Normally here in the past 500,000+ buys represent the start of an steep upward trend

Once this is secured SMDR will have a stranglehold of SEA area in terms of diverse acreage through Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, Indo etc. These areas are untapped and HUGE potential reserves. We should see production figures hitting over 20,000 bopd per again with 24 months which makes todays SP look heavily discounted if you are an investor with a longer term view than tomorrow

and government policy changes should bring the next wave of yellowcake investment. Especially Thorium in the the not to distant. Just waiting for the next surge followed up by a company making JV then its beaches and umbrella drinks for this kid.

I hope you are correct. Bought this and HOIL at same level and HOIL has double this in 2 months, even with its legal and Nigerian problems. This however is a far larger parcel as with increased production with more to come it looked like a banker. Wrong again? Not a great year for me personally on energy stocks

I don't mind it staying where it is while the spot price is bottoming. While the world finally realises over the next 24 mths with huge wholesale and domestic prices soaring that they need more fuel these companies like URA can plot a course to maximise their funding /growth options. I just hope the Bod has the capability to bring in the best partner to reward and optimise shareholders returns

URA has done this previously when it spiked over 4p . Who will be our partner get this venture closer toward open pit status ? Any guess's , AREVA would be nice
