Not at all aim4utopia! If operation is expected to last 50 days, and “apparently” there has been a slight glitch/technical delay - then why would we except to hear any news now. You imply no news is positive. It’s neither positive or negative. Doubt news early next week. But am sure you will keep saying “news next week” etc so you’ll be right eventually

I think if we arent granted permits by the end of the year then CNR are never going to get them. Too much has gone on of late in terms of site visits by senior government members, and a rehash of the mine plans to suit locals with regard to resettlement. For the record I personally think positive news will come by the end of June. Then all systems go

To be fair volume in line with average, any whiff of a government official inking a stamp staying PERMITS GRANTED would surely propel the SP beyond an average trading day!!! Let’s hope it’s close, I’ve got a wedding to pay for next year!!!

Mr jinx - not sure if you was in char when nimrod drilled but this was drilled ahead of schedule and duster rns came earlier than expected. Days leading up to rns sp drifted significantly down Obvs leaky char let certain people get out while ordinary PIs stuck with large losses

You can’t sell and buy back straight away to crystallise a loss (or gain for that matter) for tax purposes. Have to wait 30 days to buy share back which obviously is risky with this share given that char is drilling and champagne corks will be popping off all over the place within 30 days.

The recent capital raised was to strengthen negotiation postition with regard to farm outs. Until this is finalised don’t expect any news on farmouts.

I suspect MC and the the board naively expected relocation to be plain sailing by chucking some money at the locals and promising better living conditions. The government have obviously steered CNR in this direction so I suspect permits will be signed pretty soon. PC would just be a tick box exercise, as the new plan wouldn’t be so damaging against locals
