Share price didn’t go up because of RNS though. SP was on back of E3 and news expectation being quick.
This time is on back of JD being in China and advising he’ll do podcast next week, when last podcast he said won’t do next one till can announce material news

I agree on that as that is not material to share price.

JD wasn’t advised to stop RNSs, advised to not do podcasts (that’s what we think any way)
If news is material it has to be RNSd - no two ways about it

Edgy real world parody could easily be flipped into a marketing vehicle with little impact to to the game play. Rockstar would make fortunes as advertising in games becomes the norm.
Granted the association with GTA will not be for some, but this game is not for u18s.
Some edgy companies would most definitely buy into it.
Some co.s will not give a monkeys if it offends by being associated with GTA especially if it creates sales. That’s the name of the game. So many people play GTA and will lost definitely be influenced by advertising on the platform.
I would even go as far to say massive brands such as Coca Cola, Pepsi, McDonalds would risk a little backlash by being part of the game.
Their name will still be in the spot light and I doubt very much their sales will dip. On the contrary.

Remember BIDs tech allows targeted advertising so what isn’t allowed in one country doesn’t impact what BIDS do in an other. Eg cannabis, alcohol etc.

Also has the GTA casino now.
I agree GTA, or any other real world platform, would be perfect for BIDS.
In fact, let’s say GTA Contracted BIDs for advertising which resulted in significant profit for Rockstar, I feel games developers would give much more thought to the structure of a game in order to make it more suitable for advertising.

Think some broker put forecasts together but that was back in sept 2018 and did not include 2021.
IMO can forget about those forecasts. So much has changed since then.

Believe this was JDs last podcast and I firmly believe JD has been advised not to do any more until full official disclosure to the market about plans.

I would be massively surprised if the SP hasn’t kicked on by end of sept. In fact I think material news is much closer.
It is also my 40th in 2021 and I plan a Hangover style party and Vegas. Going large!! Haha.

My children, 4 boys from 4 to 15, do not watch TV like we used to 20/30 years ago. Everything is on demand, Netflix, you tube etc.
My older boys play PS4 all the usual games, and often watch gamers play on line. So can only vouch for the latest tweet.
My second oldest rarely goes out as he is always on line with pals playing games. Targeted advertising like subway would definitely attract him come dinner time!!!

Mart - look at it this way. JD has employed the creme de la creme. Go and look at these guys CVS.
They are not littered with failures and insolvent cos but rather huge successes and sales of company’s.
You really think they’d come and work for BIDS if BIDs was destined to fail. No way. These guys don’t do Blips on CVs.

I just think any tech company that succeeds will just get made an offer they can’t refuse by FAANG.
Would still be decent offer so you might just have to down size your vessel and lose a few staff.

Assuming everything goes to plan over next 5 months with delivery of contracts and exponential growth in revenue, and subsequently profit, BIDS will be snapped up by by one of FAANG for much less than £12bil (£50 a share).
JD has already alluded to the fact that this could be a unicorn if everything goes to plan.

Forget pro evo, link up with EA would be phenomenal. Apart from FIFA have NBA, NHL, UFC, Need 4 speed and Sims. All massive games where native advertising could easily be slotted in.
They probably have more games but these are the obvious ones that could benefit from BIDS

Certainly don’t in mine no matter how quick you want to them done.
Not only have you got to get contracts arranged, but due diligence, compliance and regulatory requirements all have to be finalised before going live.
Imagine same for BIDs
Remember E3 was initial discussions so quite a way to go before firming anything up

It’s the 13th working day of q3.
I am sure there’s lots going on behind the scenes and all will be revealed shortly.
Maybe the next batch of news is all intertwined so getting many factors in order prior to releasing.
