The original patent from 1999 may have expired (and maybe that's why they were allowed to build the bots in UK?)
but , BOTH companies have hundreds of other patents for individuals actions, movements, parts etc.
So, there may be cross over.
Ocado is bigger now and AUTOSTORE have gone straight to the USA (and UK) courts.
I'm not saying I know anything about anything, BUT, I'm not sure ignoring it is the best idea.
It will involve some kind of battle.

Mods, I hope that's the case. It's only the 2nd day of fall, so lets see, I had no plan to sell a few days ago. Just seems a very unusual event to me. Maybe I will buy back at higher price. like I say, I am a fan and can't see that many alternatives I am interested in.

I will be watching and buy back in if stabilised. It will either be back over 27 with some positive news or heading lower again (anyone's guess 23-24-25 )
