agree with your point about the technology, allied to the fact that AK was evidently moving away from his mic at times I could not always make out what he was saying. however I suspect it was the best tech solution they could come up with at short notice, and felt that the call was unavoidable despite AK's pre-determined location, given the SP drop after the big news last week. that quibble aside, I am only more encouraged by the content of the call (the 90% I could make out anyway), it put some meat on the bones for me and am more than happy to be in here, confident it will ultimately come very good but perhaps just over a slightly longer time frame than some might have anticipated. But DYOR etc..!

Having been reluctantly averaging down on several of my other oilies for a long while now, I gleefully averaged UP here today - IMHO there is a lot more to come....

Can someone please provide brief background to this particular issue, or point me in the right direction to find full story? Thanks

I have always believed in the basic business concept, just not some of the management

My optimism stems from simply moving from where we were ("shocking SP with KF still running a smoke and mirrors show") to where we are this morning ("still shocking SP but with a seemingly more honest and open guy now running the show").

But IMO these are the reasons the SP is where it is - not reasons for it to fall further. There was not much "new news" in today's RNS, rather formal acknowledgement of a load of stuff we knew or suspected already. Personally I thought it a good, clean the slate start by the new guy, but let's see how things pan out as 2019 progresses. I am happy to hold - but not to add yet, admittedly. DYOR!

dunno, but someone buying £23k at nearly 15 is odd, surely he/she could have picked up that kind of volume in drabs and drabs at a better level, based on recent trading? some good news coming for a change? hope so...!

Sorry, "make money" is wishful thinking, initially I would just like to "lose less money", as my average is in the high 20s...

Personally I would rather they be rewarded based on share price recovery than have undeserved salaries just land in their laps. If the share price goes up, I will make money. No point worrying how much others are making in that scenario, the fat cats always get the cream.

best guess some OPHR sellers diving into VOG instead today, I will be one of them shortly (actually already a VOG holder but will be topping up). not overly worried about possible cash raise, long term prospects are good.
