"Extreme-E and AFC Energy have unveiled plans to develop a hydrogen fuel cell rally car, based on their existing all-electric design. The shift to powering the rally cars themselves with hydrogen fuel necessitates a role for hydrogen carriers like ammonia, and (handily for race organisers) AFC Energy has extensive experience in ammonia-fed power generation solutions, including integrated cracking technologies to produce fuel hydrogen."
From the newsletter, have I missed that AFC will be developing the fuel cell? I don't recall seeing them specifically named.
Select Cranes already have an electric crane operating in the UK. I know this was taken on a demo tour earlier this summer and mace took a look at it.
It would make perfect sense to pair the crane on a site with an AFC Energy fuel cell. Well in my eyes anyway
Mucksy thats correct
"As with the last release from the company, we leave our projections unchanged ahead of the publication of the group’s final results for the year to 31 October 2021, which we anticipated will be delivered in early 2022."

'We understand that this is the first time a certification agency has granted AiP on such a design which should cement AFC’s roll as the leader in the ammonia / fuel cell space across the maritime industry.'
This line is particularly pleasing.

Then why are you invested?
If the shares underperforming and the CEO is a clown in your opinion, surely your money is better invested elsewhere? That just doesn't add up DW. You've been so unhappy with the performance but remained invested. Odd
If this conversation was 3 years ago then obviously I'd agree. But to use the pull back from the January high as a beating stick is ridiculous.
Can you find me a share in this sector which is up from January?
The last 10 months have not been good for the majority of hydrogen stocks. For me it's clear AFC is moving In the right direction and I'm prepared to wait as long as it takes.
In the last 3 years the share price has gone from 5p to 50p, yet here we are criticising AB, its simply laughable. No not everything is perfect, and for sure there has been mistakes.
AFC haven't yet achieved sales but the progress is there for all to see.
Klunk, ABB are the potential customer. They will know the size and will inform any potential client of theirs, surely unless I have misunderstood this whole patnership. I just don't think that information needs to be made public, thats not to say potential customers don't have the info.
Fortunately for companies such as rolls royce they have a lot to show off. Working with single units it becomes more difficult.
The unit has left for Estonia, what exactly would a picture show that words don't tell us? Well done the team can load a unit on a wagon, not something to boast about. When the time is right image's will be released. It is frustrating but patience will be rewarded.
