Expanded Feedstock: ILS will now procure bulk NdFeB materials, expanding beyond hard disk drives (HDDs) to include components like rotors from electric motors, wind turbine magnets, speaker assemblies, and MRIs.
Joint Team & Technology: A joint "Technical Procurement" team will be created. They are targeting the delivery of the INSERMA "3rd generation" HDD magnet separation system to the ILS pre-processing sites in South Carolina and Nevada by the end of December 2025.
Production Target: The Feasibility Study for the Texas Hub projects an annual production capacity of 1,557 metric tonnes of total payable NdFeB (recycled sintered magnets and co-products) within five years.
