More good news. No doubt the doomsters will find negative angles!!
Go on Swap, tell us!
That is a tough one. Been where you are (about 25 years ago). Totally understand your rationale. As a 64 year old now I would love to say keep your money in here and extend your mortgage as much as you can, but having been were you are I can’t! Family and minimising risk as someone a lot younger than me comes first, always. But 20 year or so from now you will I’m sure be filling your boots!!
XEL, I’ll have nightmares tonight! But will become sweet dreams thinking about ORPH. Old Cole made over £4million selling in a window. Then took XEL into oblivion. He was an accountant, not an entrepreneur. In Cathal we trust, he certainly knows what he is about, unlike Cole.
Thank you Dorfan. (Bit late looking in today)

Radium - I doubt it. Imagine the public outcry if governments don’t address the waiting lists. Politicians losing their seats because they allowed the waiting lists to languish untouched. Not going to happen
Are you shorting Orph then Mr Driibbles? Even funnier
NHS Wales waiting lists are now apparently eight times higher than a year ago. Guess similar elsewhere in Uk. All Uk governments know that such massive increases in waiting lists will be tolerated for very long. Will the NHS be able to reduce them on their own? Absolutely not. There is going to be a lot of that work picked up by the private sector. I wouldn’t be surprised if it took 4-5 years for waiting lists to return to the levels of a year ago even with large scale private sector input.
Radium. You are spitting into the wind. And look at the share price! At a years high! Why don’t you just clear off and take your monologue somewhere else.
Radium you are an irritating dripping tap, I suspect with some personal agenda against Totally and possibly also against the fact that the private sector operates within and around the NHS. Last week I couldn’t be bothered answering but you are an irritation. I know you will fire some more of your diatribe back at me but I will not under any circumstance reply or post anything in response. Although you will ignore me here are my comments
1. No it won’t.
2. yes, agreed. However they will never have the staff to implement it themselves and will have to commission the private sector just as much as they do now.
3 reread 2.
4 what a wonderful thought the NHS being able to do everything themselves. They haven’t for decades. Nothing is going to change.
So when do you think it will be?
Demon G spot on. Moniman - really, you cannot be serious
Petty bickering is so pathetic. I suggest this is dropped now, not serving any purpose. Differences of opinion and let’s leave it there.
I did. See my post from last night
Radium, I don’t think you know much about how corporates work in and around the NHS. I have run a Dom care company for nearly 20 years and fully understand how much the NHS and councils rely on private and quoted companies. Irrespective of what you have read or believe and are spouting here, nothing much is going to change any time soon
Good man Ted. I’m NE Wales. On a Cabernet Franc Mendoza (Argentinian). Still half left!
Yup!!??looking forward to similar trajectory on Monday
How’s your red Ted? Fancy your chances more than mine (Wales)!!
After several weeks of lethargy in share price and seeing lots of us starting to waver a bit, Cathal’s update and seeing us at 27.9p at close from languishing at 23/24p has given me a really good uplift. Just enjoying a Duval and a nice red lined up. Vaccination numbers looking positive. Six nations imminent. Happy Orph weekend everyone.
Did he say when he expected to move into profit?!
